Phren is a bit of an unusual character to know. You are either someone who really likes him or really hates him. Aside from what you may or may not feel about him, he has many unique things about him.
As an orphan moving from foster home to foster home, he's always gotten himself into troublesome situations. He once knocked out his caretaker with the help of a shoe, a pillow, and a lamp. His next caretaker was sent to the hospital after Phren thought it would be funny to trip him near a set of stairs. His sense of humor got him thrown out of every foster home he was in. He couldn't escape the past of what happened long before.
Years later, the very day he turned 18, he went out on his own into the real world. It wasn't too different for him, as he would always sneak out of his foster homes anyways. He ended up living out on the streets, trying to live from dumpster to dumpster. All the time, he kept a bright smile.
He had an obsession with getting involved with gangs and ripping them off, which got him into even more trouble than pranking his foster parents. He loved the thrill of being chased and the fights that would ensue. He still never had a home, as he never had enough money. He spent his cash on new and sleek outfits and nice hot showers. He never spent any on his sexual appetite, as he preferred to deal with that the old fashioned way.
You may see him wondering about one day, sleeping in a dumpster, trying on clothes at a store, or running away from angry gang members he pissed off after cheating in a card game.
