Much Overdo About Nothing

Lol, I made a Shakespeare reference! *stabs self in eyes*
Okay, so I haven't updated in a while, and that's lame. I've got two projects in the works right now, one is a longer story about a guy who's father dies and in going through all the old memoirs and stuff his dad has, accidentally unravels a huge conspiracy and a lot of stuff about really unethical experiments and shit. It's weird, but I'm digging it so far.
The other one is for a thing Atari is throwing together for the Utah furs, it's a short story with the theme of "memories" and it's about a guy who goes back and visits his old parents' farm after they die and remembers what it was like living there. It's a really obscure one, anyone who liked "A Bench In Central Park" or "The Collector" will probably find somethign to like in it. It's one of my more experimental pieces. But then again, isn't everything new an experiment? I'm hoping to make my experiments at least interesting.
That being said, I've got a lot of writing in a fairly short amount of time. And that sucks. I probably ought not to spend my days playing L4D2 and reading other peoples books and get working on my own, right? Haha, either way. I'm excited to get the rough drafts finish and then go back and refine the stories. The second one is my priority, cause it actually has a deadline. After that though, I will be looking into more obscure stories. I already have an idea for one which excites me, I even wrote it down! My style is really starting to blur the line between William Faulkner and Anthony Burgess. With a hint of Richard Matheson. I'm really liking the way these stories are coming out.
Keep your eyes on my submission list of these sound interesting. Teasers and previews will be posted as I get closer and closer to completing these stories. I already have a preview ready for one of them, I'm just waiting to get a lot further in before I start teasing people.
