The following pieces of art (CW: vore) https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47124341/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47166668/ were made in a way which I haven't seen elsewhere.
I start with making a really tiny image by hand (example, CW vore https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47124575/), and then I use software which upscales the art while also keeping the edges sharp (LetsEnhance and Topaz Gigapixel were the two I used in each of these respectively).
I then add details to the upscaled art, and upscale again, and add details, and upscale again... I repeat this process until I'm finished.
That is to say, I alone came up with both general and specific details about these pieces (the characters Flygon and Servine are actually Nintendo's, but that's beside the point).
Only the edge sharpening was done using AI -- edge sharpening which would have been the vast majority of time spent by be to make these, had I done it all painstakingly by hand.
The difference between how I upscale and simply resizing the image is that resizing the image will make a blurry image because all the computer does is interpolate the pixels.
LetsEnhance and Topaz Gigapixel, on the other hand, are designed to expand images while keeping edges sharp.
Neither is intended for use as an AI art generator, and are instead for simply expanding images while keeping edges sharp, and that's exactly how I used them.

I feel as if those who wrote these rules were trying to take aim at art which was made entirely without any by-hand input, in which case, I agree.
Any and all art made entirely by a machine (even if there's some text input) should be very clearly labeled as such, and not be anywhere near where someone could mistake it for something that someone put their hours of hard work into.
But the lack of distinction between art upscalers and actual AI art generators leaves the above two pieces of art in a disputed area.
I really had spent hours creating each piece, yet still used an upscaling algorithm to help me make them.
I worry that these new rules mean I need to delete these submissions, because of the AI-assisted edge sharpening I applied along the way.
Maybe I'm worrying over nothing, and maybe I'm just in the denial stage of grief.
I can't tell.

TL;DR This art is not entirely AI-generated; they're hybrid pieces made via detailing and upscaling and detailing and upscaling and detailing, and so on. I did the parts which did not involve sharpening the image; all the other details are mine. Can I still keep them up?
