Hello, and welcome to my FA profile page!
My name is Ponyfox, a Dutch and British citizen born and raised in The Netherlands during the spring of 1982.
Been a "furry" (therian) all my life and became active in the furry fandom since 2006. An interest in fursuiting developed much later in 2009 after Eurofurence 15.
At the convention itself I got the oppertunity to fursuit for 30 minutes and the experience blew me away. In 2010 I received Freckles as a partial at Eurofurence 16.
This friendly convention environment allowed me to learn and explore fursuiting for days on end. I was hooked.
Ever since then me and Freckles attended many conventions and meetings throughout the years. Big and small.
In 2013, plans were made to upgrade Freckles to a full suit keeping the core design intact, while giving him a new style makeover.
After a decade it was time to retire him and get a fresh new suit in 2024.
Apart from performing as a fursuiter I also love to direct, shoot and edit videos, which are of course mainly furry related. Also a major shutter bug.
Equines were my life for two decades and although I never had an equine companion in my own care, I did ride once a week until Q4 in 2017 due to a traumatic life changing event.
So why not a horse fursuit?
Well... although various makers have gotten really good, it still didn't feel comfortable enough to commission one at the time.
This is why further investment went into Freckles, because he too has become very much a part of me. Cannot imagine a life without him.
And that doesn't just count for myself anymore either.
Furthermore, Freckles is a handful of fox as it is when it comes to storage and maintenance.
Other than that, I am in a closed relationship with a beautiful little girl from MalmΓΆ~...
