Art Refocus 2026 (G)
Hello Hello,
I'm posting my once a year journal of small updates, this time focusing on my art, projects, and future road for them. I'll be covering some topics like progression, interests, scheduling, and upcoming adopt/commisions.
Lately, my focus has been on slowing down and being more intentional with my art, especially my main Aeromorph projects. Those pieces mean a lot to me, and I want to give them the time they deserve so I can really refine the designs, lore, and overall quality instead of rushing them out. At the same time, I’ve been filling the creative gaps with furry art, which comes more naturally and fluidly to me, helping me stay active and motivated without burning out. Balancing the two lets me keep creating consistently while still pushing myself to improve, experiment, and grow toward the level of polish I want my Aeromorph work to reach.
Drawing furry art has helped me progress in ways I didn’t expect, giving me space to experiment and learn without the pressure I sometimes feel on larger projects. It’s pushed me to improve my anatomy, expressions, posing, and line confidence while letting me work faster and more intuitively. That freedom has made learning feel natural instead of forced, and a lot of those skills quietly carry over into my bigger Aeromorph pieces, helping them feel more alive, expressive, and confident overall.
I’ve also been feeling a growing pull toward more dynamic pieces, with stronger motion, storytelling, and maybe even exploring a small comic format. On top of that, my interest in writing and expanding lore for my Aeromorph characters has only gotten stronger, giving their worlds and histories more depth beyond a single image. I’ve already finished one full lore project, and it’s made me even more excited to keep building, refining, and sharing more of that universe going forward.
I’m also planning to explore adoptable characters and eventually commissions, with the goal of having a few high-quality adoptables ready sometime in February. Commissions will open later on, once I’ve had more time to refine my skills and workflow, because I want to make sure anything people purchase is something I can be genuinely proud of. Taking that extra time now feels important to me, I’d rather deliver a strong, polished product than rush and risk disappointing anyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my little journal update, it genuinely means a lot to me. I hope everyone has a happy New Year, and I’m wishing you all a great start to what’s ahead. Going forward, I’m hoping to step a bit more out of my isolated shell, talk with more people in the community, and be more present and open as I continue creating and sharing my work.
