Sup? I'm Psyclone, and I'm a Seahawk (not really, I ain't no otherkin). I know what you're thinking: "This guy must be a huge Seahawks fan". Nope, I'm British, and had never heard of the Seahawks until after I found my fursona, the similarities are pure coincidence; or maybe someone was monitoring my thoughts and stole the idea. So, about me. I'm a Drum 'n' Bass addict and am uploading 20 minute mixes to souncloud every other week! I have 4 interests in life, Drum 'n' Bass, Xbox gaming, YouTube, and Formula 1.
Drum 'n' Bass: My absolute favourite artists are Camo & Krooked, the first musicians I ever became a fanatic of. Move Around is my jam! After them, my favourites count... up goes something like: Fox Stevenson, Ramses B, Netsky, Blue Marble, Pendulum, Maduk... There are so many more amazing artists, but I only have a limited space. I also occasionally venture into Melodic Dubstep and House.
X-Box Gaming: You can see what my favourite games are. I'm a casual gamer and only get annoyed at snipers, and people in GTA races who have spin you out because they could never beat you straight up.
YouTube: My favourite YouTuber is Markiplier, such a free spirit. Some of my other favourites are JonTron, ADoseOfBuckley, AngryGrandpa... once again I'm limited by space.
Formula 1: What can I say about Lewis Hamilton that hasn't already bee said? He is the most exciting driver to be a fan of, and I'll support him till the end. But I face a dilemma this season, as Aston Martin are now in the mix! Do I support my favorite driver, or manufacturer!?

A review of 2018

I can confidently say that joining the furry fandom is both the best, and worst thing to ever happen to me. Sounds impossible, but for every shining star I meet that brightens up my days, there will also be a nemesis that wants to watch the world burn. Thankfully this year has been one of more angels than demons. Just as well since I have alot of achievements that the undesirables might have tried to cut down if they had known about me.
This has most definitely been a year of music. After throwing a bunch of shit at the wall to see what sticks, I found free mixing software and now have a series of 10 DnB mixes. It's fun challenge to pick 10+ songs at random and try to fit them together like a jigsaw. And that organised chaos somethimes creates a beautiful transition I would have never thought of. So beautiful that I topped off the year with an hour long compilation of my favourites.
Speaking of DnB, the telegram group I set up to meet like-minded ravers has been a mission accomplished with a humble 38 members. But it hasn't all been plain sailing, as one morning I woke up to a flood of messages telling me that somone was promoting pedophillia in a music chat! Thankfully, the admins did their job and deleted the messages before any damage was done. Once I saw the deleted message history he was promptly banned. Other than that, I've only had to nudge people from time to time to prevent it from becomming a NSFW group.
Music ventures weren't the only thing new this year, as I'm typing this within what seems like a mansion compared to my first flat. A 10 min drive to work and a shop across the street is pretty hard to complain about. A new home, and a new relationship. Although I've had some great times with my now ex partner, I felt that both him and I were settling for second best. He already seems to be doing better for himself, and it feels like my new significant other is perfection. It was always going to hard to find somone to match my passion and interests, but somehow he exists, and there's nobody I'd rather be with. I'll spare you the more "private" details.
Friends to help me through the tough times have not been in short supply, with plenty of shoulders (or rather wings) to cry on from the Burdcrew Telegram group. I'm always hunting for people who I can have a positive impact on, and i've built up a little collection of birds to help, and be helped by. See what happens when you're a decent, honest person?
Of course the biggest news in the fandom this year was the Kuro scandal, with screenshots released (allegedly) showing him admitting to horrific animal cruelty. But in an age of photoshop and furry jealousy, I have to take an innocent until proven guilty approach. It's stories like this that make me glad that I have literally nothing to hide. If somone went through my internet history, they wouldn't find any blackmail material. If people watched me at a meet, they'd see nothing to complain about. I guess I'm an unusually "normal" furry.
The only thing currently stopping me reaching nirvanna is money (or lack of). But the good news is I've found where my paycheque has been dissappearing to, and I should be getting it all back in 2019. Another 2k next year could get me a suit, a DJ controller, a con ticket? Let's see if I can accomplish even more dreams this year than I did in the last 12 months.
