This is mostly for myself to leave thoughts and musings but if people find use in them um go off I guess. I don't plan on using flawless or even great grammar as these will be more stream of consciousness and well rambling. I've been a lurker in the Fandom since probably freshman year in high school and a large part was well the sexual side. I didn't fully realize it but seeing fursuits was one of the things that excited me that way. I knew girls didn't and well up until college I hadn't really found the boys in my school attractive either. So I admit it I mostly just looked up khajiit cosplays and well that did it for me. Then I found the furry Fandom shortly after. While I found the art appealing I also found a pretty unappealing vocal minority that bitched about drama and well it was around the time the alt right in the Fandom started becoming vocal so I didn't want to touch it with a ten foot pole. So I found pics I liked and left. This continued until I found that I was a human pup. While more tangential in nature it did make me more comfortable in exploring. I hadn't actively tried on social media but I started following artists and liking and reposting. Eventually I even commissioned art. I even watched Majira Strawberry and Fluke Husky and later Kezzie Coyote. Currently I still do and am in the process of commissioning a fursuit for my possum character now named Lyric. All this to say is just because there's a bad apple or a vocal minority of unsavory people that doesn't mean you shouldn't explore and seek out the things that make you happy. I'm slowly making furry friends and I'm working on figuring out what I can do to really interact and add to the fandom. Some of my main skills have been creative and I've seen so many creative people in this community so probably something in that realm. I also want to go to a convention someday sooner than later. Anyways I'll leave this entry here its time to play some DnD
