I'm not sure if I'm the only one who has let emails build up for years. but I finally did a full on purge. It took a while... but I feel better. I'm not sure why. I guess it helped me feel like I was more organized? All I can say is damn. I've come a long way in general... Some of the emails were between me and an old friend I unfortunately grew apart from.
Some of the messages were about an ex in high school. How I was scared to leave, how he would react.... but reading the messages was like I was reading someone else's conversation. I've matured and become so much stronger over the years. If I knew what I knew back then. I would have been able to avoid so much stupid bullshit, pain, and heartache....
Its nice to see the change. I've done a lot of reflecting. We'll see what the future holds.
