Coaltl's mom was a phoenix, and his dad was a positive energy elemental.

Birb's canon powers are:
-He can burst into flames, or throw fiery feathers. He can control his core body temperature.
-He can summon a pocket dimension he calls his "Happy Place", it has a comfy couch, a table, and a fireplace. The table has a plate that always has the kind of cookie you like, and your favorite drink. The fireplace reflects birb's emotional state, and can show him what is outside the demiplane.
-Birb maintains the revival aspect of his mother, and if slain returns to life a few days later. He gets an aura of positive energy from his father. (He can literally heal you with hugs!)

Birb is smol. (7 inches tall.) This is of vital importance for you to know.

Birb has a rarely used divine form that allows him to rebuild destroyed worlds, and restore lost souls to the realm of the living, if they permit. In this form he can shard off parts of his power to create "Embers", which are adorable little borbs who seek out people who need hugs or warmth.

Birb can summon a magical, fiery rapier if he must defend himself with a physical implement.
