Hi, I'm rascalov!

I'm a bit of a rascal, but never mean to anybody! I love a good joke, but not at someone else's expense! I'm kind of shy, but I love to make new friends, so feel free to note/comment/shout! Well, don't actually SHOUT at me! :D I do respond to stuff, though not always right away...

I live in Indiana, but I'd rather be elsewhere... Somewhere warm, like California. I hate cold and snow!

I love inflatable toys and latex balloons! Especially the big ones! I'm also fascinated by old machinery (cars, watches, steam engines, vacuum tube electronics, etc.)

Music is ubiquitous to me. I listen to almost all types. I always have a song or piece of music running through my head, when I'm not already listening to something, that is! I mostly play my music on vinyl, because I firmly believe analog sounds better! I have 'Hi-fi' records from 50 years ago that sound better than the latest 'hi-def' audio! I have 1400+ records, so even when all of my pool toys are deflated, I still have a room full of vinyl! ;3 I don't think of myself as a collector, cause I buy records to play them, not keep them in pristine, mint condition. I don't mind a worn sleeve as long as the vinyl plays well. I do have some amazingly well-kept LPs, though...

I also have a 1968 Buick Riviera. She's my baby! <3 She needs work, but still the coolest car I've ever owned! Let's see, 430cid V8, Edelbrock carb and intake, hot cam, headers, dual exhausts, mufflers that don't muffle... Just a loud, brutal hotrod with the trappings of luxury! The engine work was not done by me, though. I know how fix cars, but have never done any major rebuilds or restorations.
