RATS are often misunderstood in Western Culture. They are perceived as dirty, disease spreading vermin. In other cultures they are seen as a sign of good luck.

The truth is, rats are incredibly intelligent and highly social animals that have incredible skill sets and determination that make them a top-tier survivor in today's modern world. They live off of our waste, as the human species, and take advantage of everything we hand to them.



Rattus Rattus (Black Rat) and Rattus Norvegicus (Brown Rat, Norway Rat) are the two most common types of rat found widely across the world.



Rattus Norvegicus are pet rats, "fancy rats" that you will find in your local pet store.

RATTIE OWNER NEEDS HELP! PLEASE READ!

I was contacted today by a user who is taking commissions in order to fund their rat's vet bills, a cage upgrade, and a new friend since his old cage mate has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.
