My name's Erasmus, but most people just call me Ras or Eras or Era. Feel free to pick one, or come up with an abbreviation of your choice.

I'm an extremely disillusioned American college graduate, and after a practical lifetime of lurking I've finally begun to take steps at getting involved in the furry community. I don't do much in the way of pretty scribbles though; I'm mostly here to admire. Maybe I'll get around to writing something fur-related. I certainly hope so.

I'm not really as bitter as all that though. Despite my minor unhappinesses I'm a generally jovial individual and I love to get to know new people. I'm quite fond of reading; my favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Haruki Murakami and Chuck Palahniuk. I also have a great deal of enthusiasm for languages and linguistics; I'm relatively conversant in German and Japanese so if you are a native speaker and/or want to give them a whirl, please feel free to send me a message.

Otherwise, keep your nose clean unless you've got a good reason to get it dirty, always wear underwear unless you like going commando, and stay frosty.
