the game ive been helping to beta test in my spare time/whenever i can over the past few months is now open to the public and free to download (this is just the time since i joined the beta testing team, its been in development for a lot longer than that)

what was done was the old renegade game from the Command and Conquer series was redone and updated using the Unreal Tournament 3 graphics engine instead of trying to still use the old W3D engine that the original renegade was made in, and some features have been added as well.

and yes, this was officially allowed by Electronic Arts, with the condition that no money be made off of it (if memory serves those were the terms)
