-Second, I respect those of you who enjoy things that I don't, even if it doesn't sound like I do. I'm not one of those furs that hates everyone and everything that isn't 100% clean. "Weird fetishes" don't bug me unless you're acting out potentially harmful ones in the real world, though some of them will make me keep my distance, if only because I AM GERMAPHOBIC. Your fetishes won't make me judge you as a person, but the more you publicize the ones I'm unfamiliar with, the more wary I will be. Don't be scared to try and explain to me the ones I don't understand!
-Third, assume that if I've said I'm okay with it and have NOT added "but don't mix me in" that I wouldn't mind drawing or RPing, drawing, or writing it (now or in the future).

Anyways, allow me to share- drumroll please- MY PERSONAL OPINION ON THINGS IN THE FURRY FANDOM!
*dramatic background gasp*

I'll make a list to be simple. Forgive me if I portray something wrong- there's lots of definitions for these things.

Also, I apologize now if I offend someone. If I said something that particularly bothers you (such as "I don't understand" or "I'll stay away from you" or something, feel free to POLITELY approach me. I can clear things up, or YOU can clear things up!).

Actions, Identities, ect.
Bestiality: Acted out in the real world should send you to prison. Fictionally, be it in literature, art, or your own mind, that doesn't bug me. Sure, wanting to fuck a non-sentient animal gives me the creeps but, hey, it's your life. If you don't act out on it, fantasize as you will.
Zoophilia: Okay, this is a little more complex. I think of my cat as (besides a pet, because he's an animal and I recognize that) a sort of sibling. Some people assumes that makes me a zoophile? Hm. On the topic of humans falling in love with their pets- I won't question it. Do as you will- when it crosses into Bestiality (in the real world, not fantasies) then I have an issue with you.
Otherkin: Not so much a fetish/like than a religion(?) or spiritual identity. As long as you don't act like a feral animal in public or around me (when not LARPing or being otherwise casual) I'm 100% fine with you... but respect that I'm 100% human, no matter what animal you may think I should be (personal experience, I recognize not all Otherkin would push said subject). Also, I'm very sorry the Otherkin mark is so close to the upper two.

Fetishes, Kinks, General Likes, ect.
Babyfurs: I don't understand the appeal. Sure, I get the "it's cute!" but as soon as people start portraying themselves as baby anthros, I get confused. I'm not saying I think there's something wrong with it, I'm just saying I don't understand it- even less when babyfurs ACT LIKE THEIR BABY ANTHRO FURSONA in costume/in the real world. As for those in that wing of the fandom who like it in a sexual manner (acted out or fantasized)- please stay away from me, or just make sure I never find out. Pedophilia irks me- surprisingly, even more than bestiality.
Daiperfurs: I don't get it. Fantasize as you will, act as you will, but I still don't get it.
Scat: I'm germaphobic. Please for the love of all things clean don't act out any scat fantasy in the real world. I won't come within a mile from you. Fantasize as you will, I don't care as long as it's not acted out. Also, "eating" squiks me. Anything else I'm fine with- from desperation to whatever.
Vomit: I missed this one, it was supposed to be higher up. My simple opinion? Nope. Keep me out of it.
Watersports: Again, act it out in the real world and I won't come within a mile of you. Still germaphobic, no matter how many times you wash. This is assuming hardcore watersports- pissing on yourself, drinking, marking, pissing on your partner, ect. Both bug me. Fantasize as you will, though.
Omorashi: Desperation/wetting? If you act it out in the real world, just be sure to wash- it's not as bad as hardcore watersports to me. Acting it out and fantasizing is fine, but by god, if you do it in complete public and humiliate yourself, I will not associate with you unless it was an HONEST TO GOD accident.
Hard Vore: You know, thinking back, it never really bothered me. Obviously, don't do that in the real world, but fantasize as you will.
Soft Vore: Allow me to name a few things: Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Chowder, Powerpuff Girls, Kung-fu Panda 2 (the dragon costume scene PFT), Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents, Christ, the list goes on. It's a thing seen in a lot of cartoons. Of course, it's impossible in the real world, but fantasize all you want. You could say I'm "into it" I guess? Hm.
Unbirth, Anal Vore, ect.: Doesn't bother me a great deal, since it's all fantasy (I hope). Not 18 yet, can't really touch on the subject (no pun intended).
Digestion: Gee, where else does food go? I don't like seeing rotting corpses in stomachs (real, drawn, or written about), though. I'm fine with this.
Stomach Noises: I think it's cute.
Stuffing: SHAMELESS ADMITTING TIME- I'm not able to ever be full. See, I have a nervous stomach and am very picky with foods. Certain things cooked wrong will make me sick, and if I eat to the "full" point, I will be sick. THIS IS AN INHERITED TRAIT. Trust me, if I could eat a three course meal three times a day, you bet your fur, scales, skin, or feathers I would. So you could say I'm intrigued by stuffing: it's something (in a realistic manner) I wish I could do. So yeah, act out and fantasize all you want (please don't hurt yourself if you act it out, though).
Popping: Don't do it in the real world. XD Don't care for it myself, but do as you will.
Musk: I'll be honest and say that I'm not 100% certain what this is. However, I'll go by this assumption- musk = male's natural scent (of genitalia or otherwise). This doesn't bug me at all.
Footpaws: Tickling can be cute. Licking, dirty, or pained? Not so much. I had a friend that, on a dare, sucked her own toe. I was actually physically retching and had to leave the room. I still shudder when I think about it. I swear up and down I wasn't trying to be rude or make a scene- I have the same reaction to snot, puss, and vomit in the real world. That sort of thing honestly makes me physically ill in the real world. Artwork I pass by, however, doesn't bug me. Fantasize all you want, but if you do it in the real world, don't expect to kiss me. Or get within five feet of me. I really do apologize for my reactions, though.
Tickling: Tickle me in the real world and I swear to god you will piss yourself ten times over when I get my revenge and then I'll keep doing it until I break you. Ahem... obviously, don't do that to ME in the real world, or otherwise stop when someone asks you to (okay, I poke my friends once in a while, but I stop when they're really annoyed and apologize). Fantasize all you'd like! But seriously... don't tickle me. Ever.
Mud/Dirty: I was a tomboy once, I get the appeal. But if you try and get me in the mud, swamp, or anything of the like in the real world, be prepared for some hella washing (you are going through a carwash whilste I try to take a shower). I don't like being anything but clean. Of course, if you like getting dirty, it's okay, but I draw the line when full grown men and women- or even teenagers- sit and play in the mud like children, especially in public. I don't want to be part of that and never want to hear about it. Ever. Fantasize as you will, and act as you will, but don't associate me with your real world actions.
Stomping/Crushing/Squishing: Not into it, but if asked nicely I'll RP it (provided I'm the one crushing, if only because I don't know how to "be crushed"). It's fun once in a while. Obviously don't do this in the real world, unless your partner approves or you're not intending to do to them what you do to that almost-empty toothpaste tube.
Sitting: You can sit on my lap if you're smaller than me, in a non-sexual and friendly manner, of course. Try and sit on my hips, back, stomach, legs, or arms, and we have an issue. A get off me issue. Fantasize and act as you will, but don't bring me into the more perverted end of it- and if I say get off, I mean get off.
Face Sitting: Not appealing to me. Do as you will in the real world, leave me out of it. Fantasize all you want, draw all you want, still not interested.
Gas: Pretty indifferent here. As long as you're not ripping farts in public or being rude (or at least TRYING not to), I don't mind your company. Fantasize and act all you want, but in the real world I would rather not be brought into it.
Inflation: I could make a list, but I did that in the Soft Vore section. My opinion is pretty much the same, as long as you're not hurting yourself or others in the real world, act as you will. Fantasize all you want, draw whatever, ect.
Fatfurs: Um... fat people exist in the real world, too. What's wrong with it? Nothing. Nothing is wrong with it. (Yes, I know obesity can cause harm in the real world. I also know that much of it is genetic or from a medical problem. Lastly, I know Americans stuff their faces. As long as you're not being hurt, or are trying to keep yourself from the issues real world obesity causes- by medical means, not anorexia and the like- you have my respect. Sit their stuffing your face and bitching about your weight, however, will earn you no points with me.)
Muscle: Really, really, really over-muscled men, women, and furs bother me juuuust a little, be them real or fictional. It doesn't seem healthy. I mean, sickly over-muscled. Big Ben (Powerpuff Girls) over-muscled. But if you or your character or whatever just exercises a lot, or otherwise trains, so what? Be proud, damnit, you got abs. Even the super over muscle stuff doesn't squik me, though- it won't stop me from RPing with said character or faving artwork. Fantasize and act how you want- but again, don't hurt yourself. Steroids are bad if not prescribed, or taken improperly.
Pregnancy: You know, I do like seeing people who are pregnant. It's seeing a potential family... or a potential breakup. I don't like human babies, though. Anyways, I'd love to draw more of it myself, and I've never done a family RP (heck, I've never had characters in a family before). It seems cute. So, as for real life stuff, as long as your of a decent age (over 21, I hope) I don't mind. Married or not, I don't care. I strongly dislike teens who get pregnant, but wouldn't shun them if I happen to meet one in the real world. For fictional stuff, teen pregnancy (14+) doesn't bother me any. Fantasize all you want- but be careful if you're acting it out in the real world!
Male Pregnancy/Female + Female Pregnancy: Do you realize how much that would revolutionize the world if it were possible? A lot. A whole lot. I have no problems with it at all.
Transformation: Doesn't bug me any. I don't know how to be the "transformee," in art, writing, or RP, though.
Macro/Micro: GODZIRRA sorry, sorry. No problems with this at all, either.
Hyper: Doesn't bug me...
Stretching: Owowowowowowoowowooowwoowowo OW. Nononono, I can't stand to see something with a dick the size of China fucking something with an anus/mouth/vagina/orphis that's normal-sized. If you like it, fine, but keep it well away from me, please. Ow...
Bondage/S&M/Injury/Emotional Injury/Humiliation: Try it with me and I'll make your time anything but pleasurable. I know in the real world there's a large amount of trust that goes with this most of the time. I also know that in fiction, there's not, and lots of characters become painful fuck-toys. Nothing wrong with it if it stays fiction. Like anything sex-based, keep it out of public light, too. I don't want to know about it. Fantasy wise, do as you will. As someone who isn't 18, I literally cannot RP/associate much with this at all, so please remember that.
Jelly/Goo: Goo or jelly things can be used in a variety of ways. I adopted some jelly/goo characters not to long ago. I need to put them to use somehow.
Pin up: Yes please. Ahem, I'm fine with it.
Spanking: No, thanks. Fantasize/draw/act/ect. as you will but don't pull me into it. Smack my ass in the real world and I'll give you a couple of black eyes and a restraining order.
Sneezing: How is this...? Nevermind. It can be cute, but ugh, germs. I'd rather not be involved, but I do realize that when someone/a character is sick/allergic to something, they might sneeze. It doesn't bother me, do as you will. But don't sneeze on me. Germs.
Tentacles: Not 18. Fan of Nergal Junior. Go come to your own conclusion.
Cosplay: As a cosplayer, I can safely say this doesn't bug me at all, fictional or otherwise. Uh, but if you're doing 'it' in said cosplays in the real world, please keep them in your rooms during cons, or wash them really, really thoroughly. Also, I don't need to know about it.
Plush Toys: Personally, I don't ever want anything sexual to have to do with stuffies around me ever- fantasy or reality. I have tons of stuffed animals, I can't imagine soiling them like that.
Pool Toys: Same as above, besides the fantasy part. Pool toys in a fantasy manner depicted sexually doesn't bother me. I'd love to have a big furry-based pool toy though, they seem awesome!
Hypnotizing: Good luck pulling that one off in the real world- with me, at least. While the idea fascinates me, it's not my thing. Fantasy-wise I don't mind it, but am pretty indifferent.
Belly Rubs: I can't be touched without flinching, no matter who you are or how well I know you. So, uh, maybe not. Fantasy? D'awwwwwwwww. Not really sure how it can be made sexual but, hey, humans are amazing creatures.
Master/Slave: Don't do that in the real world unless you're just roleplaying, please. Fantasy? I've never been good at portraying slaves, only masters. That being said, I'd be more than happy to be said master (I AM 16 AND THUS NOT A LEGAL ADULT SO IF YOU BRING ANYTHING SEXUAL TO ME I WILL DENY. PLEASE RESPECT THIS).
Crossdressing: Nothing wrong with it at all.

Species, Themes, ect.
Sparkle dogs: SPARKLE ON, YOU DESU LITTLE EYEBLEEDING CREATURES.
Hybrids: Go nuts. It's hard pushed finding a hybrid that bugs me.
Demons/Angels: They're as old as time. I see nothing wrong with them.
Gods: Hey, they're your characters. I advise, however, you at least TRY and be fair when roleplaying with them. Heck, I've had god characters that didn't abuse their abilities in my time. Also, a good note is the following- all beings have weakness. For example, The Duke (an interdenominational being of mine) is extremely powerful until he eats- he then loses all his former abilities until his food is digested. So gods are fine with me- but don't overdo it.
Gore: I was raised with a mom who loves horror flicks. I won't go out of my way for it, but I'm otherwise indifferent.
Zombies: No.
Pirates: YES.
Wild West: YES.
Ninjas: Sure, as long as they're not Naruto-based.
Vent Art/Shout It Out: I know people have to vent somehow, but if that's every image in your gallery or every word in your journals I won't associate with you at all.
Sergals, Tailmouths, Other Original Species: I don't mind if you have them, but I don't. I might have a few of my own, but I don't like the restrictions that come with ones made by other people.
Digimon/Pokemon, ect.: Digimon, yes. Pokemon, go nuts. Same for any other thing like them.
Renamon: All the Renamon recolors... Actually don't bother me that much. Go nuts.

AND NOW FOR THE REALLY DARING PART:
Extreme Actions, Art, Literature, Ect.
Rule 34: Every fandom has it's sexual side, who am I to deny that? Do as you will.
Clopping: Do as you will- heck, I draw ponies in panties and have drawn (poor attempts at) sexy anthro ponies in the past.
Digimon: Digimon do not have genitalia, are unable to get pregnant, ect... but that will not stop anyone or anything from drawing, writing, roleplaying, or fantasizing otherwise. Guilty as charged.
FURSUIT YIFF: How do I say this... I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU DO BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AS LONG AS IT'S NOT HARMING ANYONE. YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO FUCK IN AN ANIMAL COSTUME IF YOU SO DESIRE- JUST LIKE YOU WOULD IN BONDAGE, A FRILLY DRESS, OR YOUR OWN CLOTHING. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT... But. If you have a murrsuit, it is, technically, the same as a dildo or some other sexual toy. If you bring the same suit to cons to hug children or random people with, you are no friend of mine. I don't care how well you've cleaned it. Please, keep your murrsuit separate from a con suit, or stay well away from me.

Yiff: Trust me, I've seen things worse than yiff. I have no problem with it- do as you will (but I'm 16, and I can't stress that enough, so please don't bring it to me).


Why did I make this, exactly? It started out because of a deviantArt stamp's comments. Yet, the further I went in, the more I started to remember the words of others- my friends included: things like "Furfags are awful," "babyfurs can go to hell," "I fucking hate yiffers," "only clean art is okay," ect. So, I have one thing to say to the people like that:

Take a good look at yourself. Tell me, what do you like? How does it feel to hear "Well you're a fucking faggot," when you answer? A persons likes and dislikes, provided they're not harmful, are their own and not yours to tamper with. People aren't "sick, disgusting fucks" if they yiff in any manner. They aren't mentally ill if vore, omorashi, or something of the like turns them on. Open your mind a little- you don't have to agree with their choices by any means, but would you like it if they tried to restrict yours, or call yours wrong? Different feelings, emotions, likes, dislikes, are all born in different people. If it's not hurting anyone, what's the issue?
