Where within Sigma-Echo does your character work?
Xander works across the station as the lead specialist in the life-support systems.

What does your character do there?
He heads up the monitoring and maintenance of the life-support (LS) systems. Basically he makes sure everyone can continue to breath and that the outside space temperatures stay outside and that gravity stays on. Amongst other things.

What color uniform/coat/outfit does your character wear?
He was Hired, and wears the blue of a specialist.

Why/How did your character end up on Sigma-Echo?
With his experience with LS systems he was scouted and offered the job on the station. Having few connections to his home and the promise of a very lucrative job, he signed on the dotted line.

What is your character’s impression of the station?
This is the biggest station that Xander has been on, and as the lead on the LS system crew has been through most of it making sure things were running smoothly.

What is your character’s sex/gender?
Xander is male in both

What did your character do before coming to Sigma-Echo?
He was living in a small apartment looking for another job, as the as the transport ship he had been working on for the last couple years had suddenly been decommissioned and all its crew laid off.

Does your character have any special skills or aptitudes beyond his/her job at the station?
Has an industrial background from before his apprenticeship in LS under the one person he considers as the only positive influence on him since the orphanage.

What is yours character’s greatest success in life thus far?
He counts his greatest success in life to date as getting the job on Sigma-Echo and being able to finally make some good money.

What is your character’s greatest failure?
Failing to notice a blip in the system that lead to a critical oxygen leak that lead to the asphyxiation and near death of him and 4 others. They were saved only because it they were near their destination and were able to land the ship before all environment was vented. He takes utmost shame in what he considers to be the only black mark on his resume’.


What’s your characters sexual preference?
Xander is heterosexual.

To what extent are you okay having your character involved in sexual interaction during this story?
Up to and including “fade-to-black” would be preferable.

What does your character think of his/her life?
He is content with his life, and proud in his specialist status on the station.

What does your character have worth living for?
After the oxygen leak he vowed that he would not let it happen again to anyone. As such he lives for keeping others alive in space, finding fulfillment in his job with the resolve to keeping them all safe.

What would be an ideal and/or meaningful death for your character?
An ideal death would be in his bed after a long life and a nice family. A meaningful death for him would be in the saving others.

What’s one interesting quirk about your character?
He has a fascination with ancient Asian culture and is practiced in calligraphy and tea ceremony. He also named different parts of the LS system.

What do you consider your character’s most interesting physical features?
Xander has the typical lynx coloring, with the distinction of having longer than average ear tufts and heterochromatic eyes. He stands as a digitrade at 6’ 2” and can cut an imposing figure with his sturdy build that he diligently maintains through regular exercise and weekly gym workouts.

What do you consider your character’s most defining personality quirks?
He has a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor and, while he has the capacity for it, does not usually waste time mincing words.
