Hello everyone been awhile since I chatted with you all, felt like making this journal to explain some things so lets begin.

Many many years ago I made my character Ruby and over the years she was grown and changed for sure, Ive gotten many many pictures of her, all of which i treasure and value alot, and the artists who worked on them did a great job. Then over the years I added Crystal and then Aquamarine to the roaster, as well as Expand on Rubys lore and make a special history for her (still looking for an artist for that Floor design)

I say all this to bring onto my current points.

The first being This:
I love when people tell me they like the design of my characters or love how they look and even message me to tell me this. Over the past few years, I have even had some artists message me asking if they could draw me. Now i don't mind fan art but Ive had some interactions with some artist who say they want to draw me, and then give me a price sheet. Now I was very naive at the time, and I went through with this, saying "Sure you can draw me and ill commission you for it" This artist then asked for money up front and has since Ghosted me, making me lose $200

So that is my first point, im not going to just accept, these requests anymore, or at least ask for a sketch first before any money is sent. Unless its a artist i can trust of course. because Ive had this happen three times to me now, Luckily i only sent money to one artist, since FA flagged the other two as Spam bots, and "AI art" users. If you want some recommendations of artists Then I suggest these. These are ones I trust and have worked with

Most of these only asking for payment, after a sketch has been made/Approved.

Now onto my second point. As I said I enjoy when people say they like my character and would love to be in artwork with me, This i am fine with just find a artist and we can talk ideas. How ever when it comes to this i expect a even split. In the past I have had 2 situations which stick in my mind. One person being like "Ill pay you back" or "Ill pay for the next one" only for me to pay full price for artwork, and these promises never get fulfilled. Which ended up costing me around $300 all together. The second incident, was the same thing "Ill pay you back/Ill pay for the next one" only for this person to not only ghost me but also spread misinformation about me to friends telling them how i was "Using them for artwork" or "Abusing there trust" and even going so far as to say I was using the commissions as black mail to get them to break up with there boyfriend so they can be with me. So TLDR for this If you want art with me great, just don't expect me to pay for it all.

Thirdly, I love Ruby alot so much so that I RP with her often, this has lead to situations of Dom/Sub roles. This has lead to some people getting really pissy with me because : A, i don't include the Collar they gave Ruby, or B i don't include the Brand/Mark/etc On Ruby.
The simple reason for this is. I pay for my artwork, so the artwork will reflect what I want. Sorry to be so blunt about this. But its the truth and leads back to my previous point. If someone wants to have Ruby wearing a collar on a leash they I expect some payment for it. But if im spending $100+ on a picture then it will be WHAT I WANT. Again sorry to be so blunt but some people need to be told this.

Fourthly, ties into the above point. Ruby art and Ruby rp tend to be there own entities i feel. As such what happens in RP world, stays in Rp world. Rubys story will remain a constant. I might tweak it, here and there but the TLDR of all this is Ruby's story is what I MAKE IT, no one else can influence this. Sure i will enjoy rping with someone and love getting art with them. But only I have control over her story don't feel like you can just insert what you want into it. Ive had people in the past try to do this but as i said Ruby, Crystal and Aquamarine are all owned by me, and only I control there stories.

I think that's all my points, sorry for the long winded speech but a lot of this has weighed on my mind for abit, so i wanted to Vent. I'm a easy to approach person who again doesn't mind people talking to me, saying they like my designs, or worlds i built or anything like that. But these points needs to be followed.
