Hello there!

Hi!! I finally moved yesterday!!

I've lived on the northern half of the East Coast for most of my life, with the exception of 5 months in the summer of 2016 and 2017 spent in Southern California. Those months were life-altering and I've finally made the big jump of committing to life out here for real! I've spent the past 2 months working my way here, packing and sending everything I own, getting a new job, and figuring out how to commit to a rental someplace I've never been! It's been hard, but it's paid off!

My new home is beautiful, shared with tidy and personable roommates, and in a ravishingly beautiful area with just about everything in convenient walking distance! I spent almost 24 hours yesterday on planes and in cars getting here, with a cat carrier full of a very angry 10-year-old cat who's never left the state she was born in, but we're here and it's great. I've never lived by myself before! Only in shared rooms at college! Having my own space and being beholden to no one but myself is weird!

Unfortunately I'm not sure about the kind of hours I'll be getting at my new job yet, so that's the only real point of insecurity here. Not all my things have arrived in the mail yet, and I need to do a lot of unpacking and arranging, so between that and my need to figure out my work sitch, I'm not going to be active again just yet! But once I'm all set up, I think I'm going to start being A LOT more productive; whereas before I lived in our only spare room, a closet with no room for anything but a bed and a dresser, and was kind of confined and stifled in terms of space and productivity by my rocky relationship with my father, now I have plenty of room and no schedule but my own! (and work's :thinking: )

Things are kind of uncertain right now! Once they are though, expect more of me! I wanna do art and try to sell commissions maybe?!?!?! WOW!! :0 If you are interested in buying art from me... let me know maybe?! It'll help me to figure out my finances nwn/
