JROTC-is a class offered at at lots of high schools around the united states. they train young men and women to be better citizens and prep them for the future whether civilian or military. They are very involved in the local community providing community service.

ROTC-is a program offered at multiple colleges in the us. they prep students for careers as officers in the military. unlike the JROTC joining ROTC usually includes a commitment for the branch of ROTC that you are participating.

This is not only for ARMY cadets whether you are an AIRMAN cadet, SEAMAN cadet or MARINE cadet you are welcome to join.

About me- i am an ARMY JROTC cadets getting ready to attend my senior year of high school i am a cadet CPT and company commander for my unit. i am finishing up my paperwork to join the US ARMY. honestly i must say that i wouldn't still be in school if i didn't have a JROTC unit at my school. I love the adventure training and the camaraderie of JROTC it is as if you are a part of a huge family. sure there is drama but it gives an important lesson on how to defuse stressful situations. but as long as you have your fellow cadets you know someone always has your back.
