Just want to start this out by saying, oh my gosh I’m so happy with the reception of the Farm Boy comic so far and I am loving drawing these characters and telling the story. The entire plot is now planned out and the individual pages up to the end have been sketched out so now it’s just a case of finishing the story.

I’ve realised I’m getting more and more confident with adding details in background which is fantastic as an artist but also terrifying bc it means each page ends up having more work. I need to find a balance between detail but also not burning myself out because I think if I spend too long on backgrounds I’ll lose my mind haha

Speaking of my mind, there’s been a development that I’m not yet sure how I feel about.

Over the past weeks there’s been an increase in episodes where I dissociate or zone out, sometimes with gaps in my memory. Having spoken to my family and a doctor, there’s now a suspicion that these gaps are in fact seizures.
It turns out there’s a family history of epilepsy so I’m being checked out for that and hopefully closer to diagnosis/treatment. Been a bit of a knock to my motivation for art, but I’ll still be trying to do my weekly upload so you can follow my sweet puppy through his growth
