Hi! So it's been a minute since I opened this account and while I spend a little time here every so often I want to spend more time here, more often, and part of that starts with really giving myself the chance to draw. Visual art has always been tricky for me, I'm a wordsmith mostly, but I would like to have some kind of avatar or character reference for my fursona and I think the first one, no matter how difficult, is on me to create. How do you work this thing anyway?

I've spent a long time away from the community, because I spent some time finding myself and then transitioning and so my idea of who I was and what animals represented that changed completely. Trying to be a guy, I was a rather uninspired grey wolf (more the fault of me than wolves, wolves are great), but now as a chubby girl, I think a fat raccoon is much closer to who I am. So that's where we'll start.

I should also add some writing to here. :) Maybe I can distract myself and do that before the drawing (NO, BAD RACCOON, DO THE DRAWING!)
