I enjoy drawing furry art for commissions and as gifts for other furry fans and artist. I got into the fandom after being on a Lion king Fan Art site. That was my gateway item that brought me in to this furry world. Hope you enjoy viewing my page and feel free to comment, favorite, shot out on my art.

Anthrocon 2023 (G)
Today marks the end of Anthrocon 2023, and I must say, it has been quite a rollercoaster of emotions. This year's event has brought both success and disappointment, leaving me with a mixed bag of feelings. I'll jot down my thoughts and experiences here to reflect on this unique convention.
First and foremost, the highlight of Anthrocon 2023 has undoubtedly been my participation in the Art Show and the Artist Alley. It's been the most successful year for me in terms of showcasing my artwork and connecting with potential buyers. Seeing my pieces appreciated and having them find new homes brought a sense of fulfillment and validation to my artistic endeavors. It's moments like these that remind me why I love being a part of the convention scene.
However, despite the triumphs in the Art Show and Artist Alley, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of loneliness and isolation throughout the event. Anthrocon 2023, for some reason, seemed to lack the usual camaraderie and social interactions that I've come to cherish in past years. Perhaps it was the unfamiliar setup or the absence of the common area of the Zoo, which used to serve as a hub for spontaneous conversations and chance encounters. Whatever the reason, it left me longing for those connections with fellow furries and art enthusiasts that I've had in the past.
It's disheartening to realize that in certain circles, popularity on social media or having an elaborate fursuit seems to dictate the attention one receives. It feels as if those without a significant following or an impressive suit are overlooked and dismissed. This shift in dynamics has left me questioning the authenticity of some interactions within the fandom. I believe the true spirit of Anthrocon lies in celebrating our shared passion and fostering genuine connections, regardless of online metrics or physical appearances.
As I reflect on this experience, I'm determined to make a change in the coming year. I want to focus on forging new connections and finding alternative ways to engage with the community. Perhaps exploring the dealer's area could provide a fresh avenue for interaction, where the emphasis is more on shared interests and mutual appreciation rather than external factors.
Anthrocon has been a cherished event for me over the years, and I refuse to let one disappointing edition define my outlook. I will use this as a catalyst for personal growth, actively seeking out like-minded individuals, and creating meaningful connections beyond superficial metrics. I hope that next year's event will bring back the sense of community and inclusivity that has been a hallmark of Anthrocon for so long.
Until then, I will continue honing my craft, expanding my network, and maintaining an open mind. The fandom is vast and diverse, and I am confident that by exploring different avenues and engaging with fellow enthusiasts, I will find my place and rediscover the joy of genuine connections in the convention scene.
Here's to a year of growth, new adventures, and a renewed sense of community within the furry fandom.
