Hello everyone! As the title implies, i got scammed by somebody going under the Identity of TheFreckleDen. Two months ago, this scammer clammed to be them and proceeded to scam me and a bunch of others that fell victim to this persons actions. This person used Auctions or YCH's that TheFreckleDen had done in the past.

One particular auction would no other than The "Freckle Feast Chapter 2 YCH Auction" which was closed at the time. However, the scammer approached me under the guise of TheFreckleDen and said that the winner of the auction HomeDragon had been unable to pay due to "Money Problems." So, by default, I would be the winner.

We ended discussing payments and whatever else on Discord. Well, after everything had been paid, I waited, and waited, and waited. Keep in mind, I had never paid for a commission from Freckle before so I had no idea of what Freckle's ACUTAL discord account was or how she actually did things when it came to payment! I also knew that drawing does take a while and since this was a comic, this was a lot of drawing to be done.

However, after two months had passed, I'd figured I check up on the scammer about the YCH. However, the scammer would remove me from their friends list. Me, confused, I proceed to talk to TheFreckleDen on Twitter(WHICH WAS THE ACTUAL ARTIST) and I showed them evidence of our "Conversation" & "Payments." After Freckle(The Actual artist) explained to me that the person I was talking to wasn't them, I then began to realize my mistake.

I gave $500+ to this scammer! I've filed a scam case on PayPal, however I don't believe much will come from it and it'll be better just to drop it. The damage is done and there is nothing I can do about it. :(

However, what I can do is warn others of this person, this said person goes under the name "Nastya" on Discord. If you or someone you know is in contact with this person, I suggest that you immediately cut ties with this person! I hope you all take this as a warning not to trust things right away and to verify if the information is correct!
