Like my wife, there are a couple of different mes out there (and even more of them in my writing...).

Creative me: I am a photographer who understands why Ansile Adams shot what he did, but not always HOW. I'm having fun learning. Like my wife, I tend to shoot landscapes and wildlife. I never pose my shots. Where my wife comes from photography from her early years, I come from mine by transitioning my marksmanship training into something more useful and far less lethal. I am a writer who tinkers in both fantasy and sci fi, and my current combined world has a lot of both. I love good storytelling, and I live for good plots. My wife is my literary crack dealer, letting me read ARCs sometimes. My current favorite author is Anne Bishop, and I am currently awaiting (impatiently) for her next Terra Indigen book.

Professional me: I work security. I'm good at it, but I hate it as a field, and it's getting worse. The place I work currently is a good one though, so we'll see how long that lasts.

Social me: Doesn't exist. I peg off on the introvert scale. To say I'm a hermit is much like saying the Pope is catholic. I may be social online, but in person I'm the quiet one. I have my damage and my issues. Your mileage may vary.

Just me: I'm a hiker and adventurer and outdoorsman. I get out and look for the history of the place I live and call home now. I'm married to someone waaaaaay too good for me, and to me, and I'm thankful every day for it. I wander by nature. To me, population density is a term to describe the density of the population from the neck up. I get along with animals more than I do people. I'm a geek, but not a social one. I'm often quiet, and I listen quite a bit before speaking. I'm NOT diplomatic when I do speak. I'm not popular, and perfectly okay with that. I'm not here to make friends, I don't want any. I'm just here to tell stories. If you like them, great. If not, no worries.
