Hey there! I'm {UserName:"secretcookies"}, and I write when the mood hits me. Maybe you'll get a kick out of my stories. I know I do! (Or, at very least, I did when I wrote them.) I also enjoy editing, as it feels kind of like solving a puzzle. If you have a story you want cleaned up, send me a note and I'll see if I can spare some time for it.
(Btw, it's dangerous to go alone. Take this.

Balance
I've noticed that a lot of life relies on finding a balance between two extremes. Work hard, but remember to rest. Take risks, but not too big or too many. Be kind, but not creepy.
This extends to stories as well, and fiction in particular. I love to write and read, because these stories let me experience things I'd never be able to otherwise. And yet, the most powerful stories have a lot in common with what we already know well. Impossible dreams add excitement and wonder, while realism allows for impactful characters and plots.
So, it's up to each of us to find our own balance. How much do you cling to the familiar, the relatable, versus how much should you dive into the deep end of the fantastical? You can probably expect to see a little of both extremes in my stories while I try to find my own balance.
