Reintroductions Are In Order
Hello to my followers from the last few years and to any newcomers!
The name's SeiferA but my friends call me Seif. I decided I'd make a reintroduction post since, apparently, I never did make a detailed introduction post to begin with; I did have that brief one I wrote in my profile page, but I guess consider this an expanded version of that. Plus, with me being a bit more open about the content I'm about to share here, I figure I'd be a bit more transparent about it.
Anyway, I'm an asexual just turned 40 individual (christ I guess that makes me a grey muzzle, even though I know people who better deserve that title than me). Im a fan of anime and video games, with my passion being tied especially with Pokemon, Digimon and Yokai Watch (Although that last one, much like MLP, is kinda in my dormant memories box right now more than anything else). As such, I'm more of a fan of the kemono side of the furry fandom. There's a few friends I especially have made from that community over the years, so it's been cool to see the japanese side of the furry fandom do their thing.
I mostly came into the furry fandom because several of my friends from the MLP Community at the time were also furries. While one of those friends recommended my fursona would work best as a panda bear (Which, honestly, I'm not really objecting as much to crafting something like that as I'll explain later), I decided my fursona would ultimately be the most popular choice in the community: A wolf. Reason being that, imagining him as a furry version of my online persona Ive had for decades now, his personality along with how he is essentially the leader of a pack made it make sense that he'd be a wolf in my eyes. The goggles on his head noting his Digimon Tamer roots, along with whatever device he's wearing at the time for whatever monster taming trend is occurring at the time, with his outfit pretty much being the same as his online persona.
After hanging around the furry community for years now, I think Ive come to accept that I'm defienetly more on the kemono side of furry fandom because, while I find furry characters drastically different from other biped characters in an artistic sense, there's really not many characters that Ive found that hit that same cuteness sensor I have in my brain compared to the stuff I find in the kemono scene or even in the anime mascot characters scene. Like, sure, there's a few Ive found, but like I look at the furaffinity banner up there and none of them really make me smile or go "thats cute!". More of a "That's neat!"
However, there is one exception to this that I've found over the years:
One thing about me is that I'm also a pretty big automotive guy, especially in the classic car scene. We're talking anything from 1990 and earlier; When cars had carburetors and had more personality as such. This is something that I know isn't shared by a lot of people, but something about seeing a (to me) cute volkswagen beetle drive past me with a puttery sound from the engine makes me smile just as hard, if not harder, than most things in the fur community. The teamwork between a vehicle and a driver whom cares about maintaining their vehicle and knows the ins and outs about it is also something extremely wholesome to me.
It's a mood that I know isn't a very relatable one and only some automotive buffs will get. But I've found a community over the past few years who share that same feeling as me and got to befriend since then. Many of them have actually known me from my previous works when I first started in the fandom, in fact.
What I'm getting at ultimately is that, since I've recently decided to be a bit more open about my feelings about this, I plan to upload more artwork related to this over time. However, I've also come to respect the kind of platform FurAffinity strives to be. As such, anything that's 100% only automotive will stick to my deviantart account (Look up SeiferA there if you're interested!), but anything that does mingle with furries also being involved with driving or other casual things with vehicles will defienetly be posted here. I do want to post a bit more artwork of my fursona doing various things outside of automotive over time, but we'll see where that comes up.
One last thing related to what I said earlier about the panda fursona; Currently I have a carsona named Sabata, which is a 1973 Volkswagen Thing. Considering how The Thing seems like a bear to me, I almost want to say I'd want to take a creative take on that carsona and turn it into a panda fursona; Maybe as an alternate design. But we'll see what the future brings with that.
Anyway, that's all I got! If you've known me for a while, I think the subtle hints with my fandom with VWs and cars as a whole should've been a hint on how much of a fan I really am. Still, for everyone else, now that you know where my passions are, if you share any of that, make sure to keep following! And if you keep following to support me, as always, I deeply appreciate it!

What I would have REALLY liked was to see a recording of him as he read through it.. I so incredibly incredibly rarely get to see people's reactions.
