Bad days make you appreciate good ones, and the worst of it has finally passed. Finally back on my paws thanks to the amazing friends I have at my side. My new job is going along splendidly, I'm back to finally having a car again and I've got a new place all lined up as well. I can't help but be thankful that hard times have finally passed, but I'm also grateful to have had such trials to better appreciate the good things as they come along again.

Most importantly, I'm even more grateful to have the wonderful friends I have. My appreciation for them only seems to increase with each passing day, because it's a wonderful feeling to have someone there for you when you need them most and not when it's simply convenient for them. Words cannot begin to describe the gratitude I have toward my friends, and I only hope they realize that I would partition the love within my very soul to each and every one of them for their support and compassion toward me. A simple "thank you" doesn't seem to capture all that...

With new opportunity comes renewed vision of the path I must take, and I can't wait to start making up for lost ground. It's high time I made the most of this gift I've been given rather than dwelling on mere trivial negatives.

Here's to all the people out there with souls of gold who make the world just a bit more bearable, and may the glorious souls of our lost comrades find peace in the hereafter.
