So. in short - I have made a major purge when it comes to drawings and pictures on my profiles at DA and FA. Favorites and my own creations alike. For a deeper explanation, keep reading.

1. Most of the pictures taken down were my own creations. I was simply not happy with them anymore. I don’t consider myself very skilled, and I don’t mind that progress can be seen; that a two-year-old picture holds less details and finesse than a more recent one (I have after all left one of my oldest pictures in place, and it’s not a very fancy one ^^ ) – but there still were a good chunk of my pictures that simply left me with a feeling of being bothered with having them on display. And in a few cases because some of them portrayed things I didn’t want to have portrayed publicly anymore.

2. I felt in many ways like I had made my DA- and FA-pages into role play profiles. And as such, I couldn’t help but to notice that many of the pictures (again, some drawn by me) portrayed styles of role play, or themes of role play, activities, that doesn’t really represent the theme of the few role plays I actually do take part in today. Serabot was never really about a social outgoing wolf who enjoyed seeing friends and playing throw-the-stick day after another. Now, not every picture hinted towards such things, but to not favorize some and deny others, the decision was made to remove all rp-related pictures that portrays any other character than Serabot from DA and FA.

It wasn’t an easy decision to make, as I’m of course very happy and flattered with all the pictures I’ve been given – and I want to stress that I haven’t deleted anything, but some pictures are just no longer up on display on my FA- and DA-profiles (may be on other profiles though) - so I’m truly sorry if this stirs up any negative feelings. I can understand if it does and that I seem ungrateful. Trust me, I’m not. But the idea was never to ‘enhance’ any role play profiles via DA or FA in the first place.

So from now on, on DA I will basically no longer have anything rp- or character-related uploaded, and I realize well enough that this will likely lead to a notable drop in followers, as those who follows me in a hope to see more of those saucy rp-pictures likely will find the other things I upload rather boring. But yeah, I wouldn’t really feel good about myself if I tried to sate any potential follower over my own ideas and desires. So, DA will be kept pretty much smut-free =) As far as FA is concerned, I will there still leave a few pictures with character- and milder smut-related things up, but the pictures with theme-suggesting contents will be gone from there too.
