Hello everyone! I'm just your average lurker since I really can't draw shit unless it is something schematic or otherwise technical. The primary reason that bringed me here was searching for inspiration for my alter-ego, which happens to be a furry character. This comes to be visible in fav folder - the main and only rule for me is "I really like it - I fave it".

My alter-ego is Alrekr the Lion, intimidating tall Vikingish burly werelion trying to become a magic knight. Maybe one day, though. He's a wizard, so he can't be too late nor early, but precisely when he's meant to. He pursued his wizarding career at service of the Order from his childhood to make his dream of becoming a full-fledged lion mage true. Being in lion or werelion form, he's calm and friendly, but turns into a killing beast when something (or someone) threatens him or his family.

Alrekr, although being very young (at least for a wizard and for a werelion), already has two wives, Catherine and Kriemhild, and five cubs. Catherine is a curly beautiful werelion lady who wanted to be a housewife, but has a pretty high requirements for a male to be worthy of her attention, not even saying being his housewife. Alrekr happened to draw her attention not only with his huge, massive muscled and chubby body and huge mane with long hair, but also by being much more intelligent and smart than most of other males she met, since she, as a physician, didn't wanted to end up with some dumb lazy mute constantly soaked in beer. Kriemhild is Catherine's little sister. She's about two years older than her, but looks like her exact copy, just scaled down a bit. She wasn't really interested in males at all, but found a husband about a hundred years before Catherine even met Alrekr. Kriemhild's husband later started to be rude on her until she cried on Catherine's shoulder, and she somehow ended up living with Alrekr and Catherine after he disposed of her first husband. No need to say these three felines soon went into one bed. ;)

Living with Catherine, Kriemhild and all the cubs can make one tired, even such strong beast like Alrekr. That's when he turns into his quarry dump truck-sized lion form and goes out to look for some fun. Or he could just land on his couch and enjoy a book or game, the latter being more fun with whole family. Nowadays, you'd often see his entire family packed in living room of his "castle" in front of his magical computer that can also run human-made software, which allows them to enjoy human-made games like Kerbal Space Program. The cubs love it!

"Alrekr" or "Alríkur" is a Nordic version of Vizigothic male name "Alaric", derived from "Al" (everything) and "rikia" (ruler) - as "ruler of everything" or "mighty ruler" or something like that.
