Okay, time for a recap of sorts.

Thursday morning, I was making to go get my breakfast before going in to work, when I'm told that my card doesn't work. Odd? You bet, so when I go to look at my account, I find I'm over $400 overdrawn. Why? Someone got a hold of my information and made nearly $750 worth of purchases on the Google Store at around 3 AM Central Time (U.S.).

So, naturally I called my bank, disputed the charge and opened a fraud claim, things seem to be moving okay on that front. Fast forward to this morning, when I found that someone had changed my contact information and password to the affected Google account (which happens to be my main email address), an account recovery is in process, but it'll be at least two more days before I can do anything further.

So, in a nutshell, anyone who reads this. Check your accounts...ALL OF THEM...update your passwords and enable 2FA if possible, make your accounts goddamned Alcatraz within Fort Knox held within the secret Vatican archives.
