Twilight Tingles

I sat there on the deck in a tang top and shorts, my eyes closed. I listened to the birds fretting and drowned myself in the scent of pine and fallen leaves. Twilight was one of the best times to meditate. It had been 30 minutes and as I was about to stand I could hear the door slide open and felt a slight dip in the old wood as he came up behind me taking a seat.

I stayed still, taking deep breaths of his scent; it seemed to waft around me. Suddenly a fingertip was against my neck sending tingles slowly down my back. Air caught in my throat and I couldn’t even hear the birds anymore. He had my full attention.

He slowly dragged his finger down my back, tantalizingly slow, leaving a wake of sensation that threaten to making me fall over. My shoulders were instantly reduced to a relaxed pile of mush at his touch. As he reached the small of my back I couldn’t help but arch my spine and he chuckled, his voice tickling my ears in the best way. He reached the fringe of my shorts, and hovered with indecision.

Then suddenly four fingertips were lightly pressed against my back and he began to gently drag his nails up either side of my spine. Wave after wave of tingles began to spread across my back and sides. When he reached the top of my neck I fell back. My eyes opened as his arms closed around me and pulled me into a hug.
