Hello FA.
It's been a while. I'm not the same little pony you once knew. Life has many chapters, and I suppose little documentation on the order to read them in. It's been pretty much five years since I joined this place and my journals (I have never deleted or edited a single journal) are somewhat of an archive of my journey.

Two weeks ago I was 20 and being kicked out of the house. Now I'm staring down my 26th birthday and I'm about to move 1,500 miles away from the home I've found here in Houston. Current friends are worried that communication will be dropped, and rightly so in retrospect of the relationships I've lost contact with or let sour over a measly 300-mile move.

I don't have a job lined up. Yes I know California will be expensive, but at least I've saved up enough for a few months' worth of expenditures if budgeted correctly. I feel.... excitement. Trepidation. Nervous. Longing. Depression. Sadness. Ancient. The closer the door gets, the more I find myself looking behind me. Ironic that my fursona species represents freedom and aloofishness, and yet I'm terrified of change.

Harvey was a couple of months ago. Last year I was 21. Now when I think back to when I was still slinging tires or working for Chic-Fil-A back in Burleson I have to stop and remind myself. "Oh yeah. That was almost a decade ago."

Anyway. Enough remembrance. I just have one thing left to say.
2020 better be ready. Because I'm gonna kick its ass.
