My fursona is a black wolf with red markings named Shadow. I got into the fandom about a year or so ago. It's a weird story so if you care to stay awhile I will tell it to you. First off the very short version one day I was on YouTube see a furry video go to find out what they are find out wrong info tell friends wrong stuff end up learning the truth start to like it then become a furry now friends and brother hate it I like it they don't know that so yay.

Now for those of you who want to know the whole thing here it goes so one day I was watching a video that had renamon in it so not knowing what renamon was I go and look it up on YouTube. After I watched a video about renamon I went to read the comments and many said something about "furries" now I was curious. So then from there I look up what is a furry on google and read a couple of websites explaining what furries "were" so now armed with false info I go and ask my friends if they had ever heard of furries they hadn't so I tell them what I had read. They were repulsed so now I go and decide to learn more so the more I dig up the dumber I begin to feel I was realizing that furries were not bad they were actually cool and then i realized I was a furry (let me tell ya it wasn't easy realizing that cause I knew that many people hate furries and that if people became aware that I was one my life could go to hell still being in highschool and all) but as months passed I began to really enjoy being part of the fandom and had learned alot more about it and even though every one I know friends brothers ect hate it I will always enjoy being part of such a great community. So thanks to all the fellow furries out there who make this a great community and a great fandom.
