I consider myself an amateur artist, even though I've been in the furry community for a couple decades. I have gotten the hang of drawing art using software such as Gimp and Krita, then I moved on to using SAI. My art isn't the greatest, which is why my commissions are cheap. You can see from earlier submissions comparing to the most recent I'm getting better at this. That said, I don't do this art because I think I'm a good artist. I do it because it's fun. My most recent art is done on an expensive pen display that took me a couple years to pay for in full.
I am mostly a feral artist. I do love anthro art too, however, I find it easier to employ my particular style to ferals. As you have probably noticed from my submissions, I love drawing animals mating, with an emphasis on size difference! Small males on large females... Furever!!!!
Nomenclature of username: "Shaman Squirrel" does not refer to one character, but many characters who are shaman squirrels. As I've said above, I'm more of a feral artist than anthro, but I have some of my anthro-squirrel shaman characters drawn here. I've written stories about the long genealogy of shaman squirrels who live on a planet called Silvania. They ride on mammalian dragons, sometimes in a yiffy sense. The Shaman Squirrel Chronicles are on sofurry.com.

Thanks to
yak for helping me figure out how to fancify my profile.
If anyone is interested in giving me shinies, I plan on donating at least half of it to charities that support the endangered species featured in my mating art. I have strong interest in saving endangered species, even though I have a kinky way of showing it in my art. The money will help preserve the habitats of at least some of the following species: Mediterranean monk seal, Narrow-striped mongoose, Iberian lynx, African elephant, Crowned lemur, South American tapir, Giant otter, Red panda, Giant panda, and others...
Judge a furry by the content of their character, not by the content they upload or fave. Even some pervs can be decent people!

Accidentally trespassed in SL, now blocked everywhere. Why?
Hey everyone, I need to vent and maybe get some perspective on this situation. I just joined Second Life and still learning the ropes. Recently, I found a really cool temple created by someone I've actually known about in the furry community for years. I thought it was a public space and tried to join what looked like a group for it, but it was set to private. I tried reading the group rules but didn't finish them all. Here's where I messed up: I hit a teleporter thinking that's how you'd join the group, but it took me to a private area of the parcel. The security system kept ejecting me, and I accidentally triggered it multiple times while trying to figure out what was happening. The co-owner was incredibly harsh with me about it, way more than seemed necessary for an honest mistake. Now the parcel owner has blocked me on multiple platforms, not just SL but also FA and Inkbunny. This really stings because I've followed their work for years - I even subscribed to their YouTube channel at one point. We both share an interest in squirrels and sciurids. Back in the late 90s/early 00s, I ran some well-known squirrel information websites myself. I have Asperger's, which sometimes makes it harder for me to pick up on social cues and unwritten rules, even in virtual spaces. I've tried to apologize and explain it was an innocent mistake, but being blocked everywhere means they probably won't even see it. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? How do you handle being completely shut out over what feels like a misunderstanding? I'm obviously never going near their parcel again, but the whole situation has left me feeling really discouraged about exploring SL and connecting with other furries. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent.
