I live in Ontario, Canada. I love hybrid and mythical creatures, and I have a soft spot for creatures/beings with fancy designs and vibrant colors.
Legal Jargon: All original artwork done for commissions, gifts, trades, and requests are © Sharei, and I retain the right to post them in my various galleries and use them as examples in portfolios or on ad banners. I relinquish the right to sell or distribute for profit any works purchased by clients. I also relinquish all rights for monetary gain on royalties involving my art at the distribution of those who have purchased the art. Clients maintain the right to distribute, alter, use for profit or non-profit, all works purchased by them. If I find my art being pilfered for monetary gain by individuals not in partnership with the original purchaser, I reserve the right to request that piece be removed by the distributor.
+Do I accept gifts?+ Yes and yes. I love getting art, and I am totally flattered when people want to draw things for me. Just give me warning before hand if its NSFW.
+Do you do fanart?+ Sure, but not usually via traditional commissions.
+Do you do requests?+ Sure do. If you make a request and I like the design, and I have the time, and motivation, sure why not? Just be aware that anything which I am doing for free will fall behind in priority to that which paying customers have asked for. It may take me several weeks (or even months, depending on my inspiration at the time) to get around to doing it. Please be patient, I always get around to it eventually, but art is my business and business comes first.
+Do you do NSFW art?+ NSFW is not my forte but I will draw it.
+What is the best way to start conversations with you?+ Talk about anything, really. Overall, I am fairly bad at volunteering information during conversations, so if you want to know something the best thing to do is to ask me. I will happily answer questions, whether about my art, myself, or my lifestyle, provided they are not invasive. Just avoid asking me my ASL. Being female means I get a lot of this all over the internet, and it flags my "creepo" alarms. If you really need to know, its already in my profile information. NO, you do not need to know where I live.
+You didn't respond to my comment on your art, but you responded to the other five people! Does that mean you don't like me?+ No way. I do try to respond to everyone who comments on my art, but sometimes I don't always have the time. Likewise, sometimes I don't have a lot to say.
+ Gore. I am not very good with, and not comfortable with, excessive amounts of gore. I will happily draw blood and scenes involving gore, if they are tasteful, but I am not going to draw your character relaxing in a bathtub made of skulls atop the bodies of your enemies, eating a plate of severed hearts. No. Sorry.
+ Some types of Vore. Will I draw your character feasting on the intestines of their lover while they happily smile on? No. But tasteful vore is acceptable.
+ Scat porn. Just no.
+ Watersports. Sorry.
+ BabyFurs if they have any sort of body hygiene problems in the picture. Will not do scat or watersports or bodily fluids of that nature.
+ Cub porn.
+ Mecha. If its not super detailed, I will probably give it a shot. Cyborgs and characters with nanotech and other gadgets are fine. Half-fur, half machine, that's fine. Giant robots with a million moving parts? Not so much....

Merry Christmas!

I realize this journal is getting up late but when you have two kids and one of them is an infant, time seems to slip away from you. But yep, still not dead. Whoo and stuff. I hope everyone had an awesome holiday, ate lots of turkey/ham and consumed much pie. I know I certainly did.
Now, normally this would be the part of the journal where we'd go into how Christmas is commercialized and is ruining the spirit of holiday cheer, but I think I'm going to bypass that entirely. Instead I'm just going to say that whether you got lots of toys, presents or money, or whether you got nothing at all, what's important isn't the boxes, price tags and bags, but the spirit in which you give and receive. Even if all you can give is a holiday blessing and some good intentioned well wishes.
