I’m putting a moratorium on uploading to FA moving forward and that probably won’t change short of policy changes that are less restrictive/targeted against the ABDL community, specifically in regards to/about the depiction of adults in regressed headspace with other consenting adults.

In summary of the updated policy on depictions of regression, “Characters that have been regressed physically or —mentally— are not allowed to be depicted during… diaper changes.” So, adult characters getting changed by caretakers is completely unacceptable/off the table now? They’re really trying to strangle the AB element of the ABDL community on their site, without saying it explicitly.

Regression, as I have always set out to deliberately depict it, is about modifying the headspace of an adult character who is roleplaying or forced to roleplay in a dom/sub kink dynamic. It’s categorically indistinct from how pup/pet play explores the very same themes of the modified headspace of an adult who is roleplaying as an animal/pet, typically in a dom/sub dynamic. Following their own reasoning/rationale that depictions of “Adults in regressed headspace = CSA material/media”, so to it should follow that depictions of “Adults in pet-play/pup-play headspace = animal abuse material/media.” Are you starting to see the problem here?

Targeting very transparently adult aged characters while they are in the midst of exploring a different headspace or during roleplay feels like an incredibly malicious/bad faith decision predicated on a fundamentally and continually destructive, undeserved, and unjustified association between ABDL and CSA Media/material. I can’t speak to the other policy updates here because I don’t depict any of those things and never plan to. But I’m sure you’ll be hearing the thoughts of the other artists affected by these policy changes.

The FA staff is very clearly struggling with the delineation between content which depicts consenting adults exploring roleplay/headspace with other consenting adults vs CSAM and relevant/adjacent CSA based media, and their lack of thought or reflection in developing policy which essentially blacklists the majority of ABDL content/media is not inspiring good faith, for me.
