A great golden gryphon, around the size of a riding horse. Where the sunlight hits his feathers they glint like molten bronze, and in bright sunlight make the beast look as though he is smoldering with flames. Piercing, intelligent eyes of yellow are set above a strong, hooked beak. From his shoulders sprout two grand, glimmering wings of royal feathers, built for endurance rather than speed. When he spreads those magnificent flying tools in bright sunlight the effect is nearly dazzling; as gryphon mating rituals call for this, it is unclear whether gryphons are wooing their mates or attempting to blind them. Regardless, he is a handsome fellow!

The forelegs are avian, ending in sharp and wicked talons. Obsidian in color and polished bright, these are the weapons upon which undesirables meet their doom. Once down his body a ways - after the ribcage ends - the feathers give way to a coat of short, brown-ish fur. This shift in the beast marks the 'feline' section, with back legs of powerful muscle ending in lion's paws and a tail adorned with a slight poof on it's tip. Overall the big beast seems well-groomed and well-mannered...
