A group for furry shufflers and enthusiasts. You don't have to be from Melbourne to appreciate and dance the shuffle! We're a community of furs with a passion for shuffling! Our goal is to connect other shufflers in the fandom, provide constructive feedback for style development, and hold meet-ups at conventions. With hardstyle as our weapon, we shall conquer the dance floor, and then THE WORLD!

We hope to expand the shuffling experience, reaching out to all the furry shufflers out there!
When we get enough people, we plan on attempting meets at furry conventions, and perhaps meet up with local furry shufflers in your area!

History of the Shuffle!
The Melbourne Shuffle originated in Melbourne, Australia in the early 20th century. It was initially a jazz dance comprised of heel-to-toe movements. The shuffle was later developed from the "old school" style, which was generally unrefined and more so about expression as opposed to technical finesse, to New School shuffling. While the basic running man and shuffle motions are still present, the dance became more competitive with each new move, eventually evolving into the dance it is today.

ShuffleFurs is about connecting shufflers and enthusiasts alike and creating a community where other shufflers, both new and old, can interact and share their passions for one of the most unique dance styles--The Melbourne Shuffle!
