So I've hit a bit of a financial wall and I am embarrassed to have to do this but I have hit a financial wall. so to cover what is going on in detail:

I have been slowly working on moving towards a career as a pilot for years though due to work situations it was regularly on hold on again and off again. In 2020 with the pandemic the restaurant I worked as an assistant manager for closed permanently and I chose to knuckle down and finish my training. For those not versed in the aviation industry a pilot of an airliner has a minimum of 1500 hours before they can even get the certificate for that level of flying. So this is a long process. To assist with this I ended up signing up with a "cadet program" at one of the airlines which basically they will give me cash to assist in my training if I sign a contract to work with them after. In the meantime most of my "income" was based upon a trust fund I had inherited from my grandfather back in 2011 when he passed and was originally used for my college education which I dropped out of. So instead I have used it to cover cost and my flying though most of it has been spent on helping others and to cover cost for the charity I have been assisting with over the last few years. At the start of the year I found out suddenly I had exhausted my fund at the same time several bills came due including for my training aircraft and my truck which has a failing steering gear and needs a state inspection. I'm currently lined up for a job to teach flying with a local school as soon as i can finish my instructor certificate but the bills and cost of the certification process (primarily the checkride and practice leading up to it) are going to be over my remaining budget. I have been attempting to sell a bunch of items including several firearms and am considering selling Inu, my malamute-dragon partial, but things just are moving fast enough to cover the sudden diluge of bills that hit me at the exact moment things ran out. And if it were as simple as slow things down and get another job to help cover ends in the mean time I would in a heart beat because honestly this is utterly embarrassing for me to have to ask this. The problem is that afore mentioned contract with the airline, I have recieved $10,000.00 from them and will be required to pay it back with interest if I do not complete this training, compounding my existing problem. I have spent most of my money to help others in similar situations and all the operations for the charity I have flown for have been at my expense (and the government naturally gave me zilch the one time I tried to even write a portion off) and I realize in that regard this is in some ways my own fault, giving beyond my means. I do not give any obligations or pressure to anyone to help just ask for the kindness to do so if you can, even if it is just to simply spread this message. My goal is just to cover the gap, because as soon as I have income again I can stabilize myself here. I've swallowed my pride here to set up a gofundme if folks are so inclined or wish to share it around, I would be incredibly grateful. For full disclosure the steps I have taken thus far are to cancel all my con and extrenious plans for the year, cut any excess I can from things such as subscriptions and what not, liquidating what i can of my belongings to cover ends.
