My take on role playing

Role playing is awesome if you are into it, but make sure the other person you are trying to do it with is up for it too. Please do not start doing shit like: *kisses and cuddles bird* WHEN YOU DO NOT KNOW ME it makes me so uncomfortable and not want to talk to you ever again. I may say something like: *puffs up* as a nice gesture but trust me when I say: I DO NOT ENJOY IT. Cuddling, hugging and other G-rated actions are okay, but if you start saying things like: kissing, boob touching, ass grabbing, etc. It is not okay. Just like how it would not be okay to do it in real life with no social cues telling you to do so.
I've been in the fandom for give or take 6 years now and I've met a lot of people along the way - I know furries sometimes lack social skills. But that is no excuse for taking fictional actions with someone without them saying its okay. It is so easy to get caught up in the fantasy that goes hand-in-hand with the fandom but do not forget that there are real people on the other side of the screen and they may not want to be talked to like that.
