It has been SIX whole years since I was really actually around on this site. I have of course been lurking about and reading some comics and things from some of my favorite artists and tossing a thing or two into my favorites. And there was the odd upload once or twice maybe? But ultimately I just haven't been around and have been extremely busy. Life happened to me in that, "aww that sucks," and the "there are other fish in the sea," kinda way at first, mixed with some, "Hey your still learning, projects this big take time for pros anyway!" But THEN life hit me with the, "You're not a medical professional? ... well do you WANT to be?" So now I'm just kinda feel more trapped and single in the life I decided to hold onto more than ever! And now I'm back here!! Maybe this last part should be in the next section...

News, but GOOD

And now I'm back here!!

I've been very busy with game development.. and teaching myself how to code and program. I have ALSO been busy learning and teaching myself the piano and training my ear to hear and differentiate musical ideas and concepts and junk. All in all, lots of fun and of course skills needed for my game development project. I've also been struggling getting out of this art study purgatory I found myself in when I found an artist that I REALLY REALLY like and wanted my work to give me the same feeling that their work does. I feel like I've picked up on a few things and have learned a couple neat tricks that make me think about my artwork differently which is nice. I hope that you all get to see that around here soon. It's certainly crept into the SEA style a bit to make things more.. me, if that makes sense. Not that the style has really CHANGED, just refined. The doodles being uploaded right now though, ( This one of Mephita and this one of Amiese ) are just doodles I was doing and not, you know, some new look you'll see moving forward.

Moving Forward!!

So, I did a couple of doodles last month and wanted to upload them so you'll see those go up along with the two I mentioned in the section above! It's not a ton, but it's something I was doing that made me decide to come back and start posting to the site! That being said, there are a couple of unfinished things in my gallery that need conclusions, continuations, etc. And so I have a question for you all about that. I'll leave the question near the end in case someone didn't read this thing.. But We got comics coming that were hinted at and technically started all those years ago that never got their work done. And hopefully you'll help me decide how I should work on and upload them. <=_{This is basically the question....} I'll also be adding an advertisement for my Patreon as well as making sure I inform over here that I'm open for commission too. Let's make some sub sections for these though...

• Commissions
   For now, commission will be limited to simple character illustration in my SEA style. Though I suppose I could also doodle the way the recent uploads looks like, all neat and sketchy! Once I'm getting back into the swing of things around here and have better free time for something bigger I'll be sure to let you know. Maybe even take a crack at those YCHs!

• Patreon
   I have actually advertised the patreon here once or twice before! Nothing is changing from that, just going to be making sure that it is always here in the background. If you're new or never looked at it or any of those old posts about it, here's a very quick rundown. My patreon is mainly for and about my MAIN brand of artwork, A4ArtStuff. SkunkandAnt was ... supposed to be... a place where NSFW artwork could go, but I'm too wholesome and enjoy drawing cute things too much so NSFW is rare over here, but never off the table lol. A4ArtStuff is my main art thing however, so not furry related or anything and I wasn't sure anyone here would be interested in it. HOWEVER, the SEA crew have been featured in some artwork over there from time to time when I didn't have any other ideas for the month, and I WAS_{when I was still regularly online here} posting the artwork over here from the patreon after a reasonable amount of time.
But anyway, I didn't want the A4 side of things to act as a paywall or sorts for content here at all, but rather a support avenue for me to do more work here. As you know from the start of this journal, I got reallly busy with a lot of things, and while I've had my commissions open the entire time, SEA was just placed on the back burner, not really being as much of a priority to keep up with at the time.
So, if you decide to check out the patreon, just to be a tiny support, that would be great. I make calendar wallpapers over there for $1 a month, and Christmas once are free to all. It's also where I have been providing updates on my game dev work too! Among a couple of other things as well.

Yup, I think that's all. I'm going to endeavor to keep up here now, starting with these doodles and later on, the first of a few comics that I'm working on right now. OH RIGHT!! The question!!!

A question to help me out here!

How do you like your comics to be uploaded? In the past I posted an entire comic in one day, and the other time I did the first half on one day and then the other half.
• Do you like it all in one go??
• Do you like chunks at a time???
• Do you like to see one page each day?
• How about just whatever got done and whenever that happens to be?

I look forward to your feedback, and I look forward to posting things here again and having some fun with all of the characters I've miss for so long!
