I'm going to be honest about most furries.. most of them act the way people describe. We can't police the things that other people do, but most furries are like that. The furries that feel pressured and such, just need to accept the fact that no one is perfect. In fact, the majority of the young groups LIKE to give themselves that image that the more 'decent?' furs despise. To someone who is new to learning what furries are, this is not what they need to see.

However, we also don't need a collective of people talking about it, and saying bad things about the fursuiters involved. Everyone does something stupid, and yes two furs having sex on a city officials car in front of many children is NOT okay. But that does not give anyone else in the fandom the right to police/manage these two people.

Opinions are nice though, but don't make it seem like the fandom is not full of the stereotype described by media and fur haters. Something I hear often is.. "It's just a bunch of art and fursuiters, etc." Well okay! I'm sure to some that is all it is. Endure it, because people should be able to do whatever they want to do, without being thrown to the bottom.

To many, it is a lifestyle that they found because of the bad image the fandom has gotten. But at the same time, there are honest good hearted people who just enjoy the fandom, and not for reasons that a lot of people have described as gross and unwelcomed.

Don't make it a cult.
