Short and Sweet: I'm a GAAAAY furry voraphile. My hobbies include reading, writing, playing games and procrastinating.
I'm currently going to college with hopes of entering the field of neuroscience. However, school takes up a great deal of my time and I don't often have the ability to sink 8 hours into writing/revising(5x) a story during the semester. As such, I can't update terribly often, which I know makes at least a few of you sad in the pants. =P

Important Story Format Question
So I've been seeking a universal file format to upload my stories in. Thus far, I've been using .RTF format because I figure that just about everyone can read it. Sadly, I've heard from people who can't open my stories at all because they're in .RTF format.
I figure that .DOC and .DOCX are worse for people, since not everyone has Word.
I hear that Firefox now comes equipped with its own .PDF reader, which probably helps out those people too lazy to download Acrobat. *Glares at

I refuse to use .TXT because I have no control over the formatting and FA's handling of TXT files is horrendous.
Lastly, I have no idea what the hell an .ODT is. Never heard of it, and I don't know what programs can open it.
TLDR: What file extension should I use to maximize people's ability to read my stories?
