Well, folks — it’s time to pull the plug. I’m officially closing down the SpankedFurs community page.

When I first made it, I had this wild, foolish idea that it could actually be used for something — to highlight spanking-themed art and fiction, to share cool finds, to get people talking and connecting over a niche interest that’s usually scattered all over the internet. I tried. I really did.

I highlighted art and fiction from the community… and nobody interacted with it. Not a single comment, barely any faves. Which kind of defeats the whole point of doing that in the first place.

I tried spinning up a community Discord server to actually get some conversations going. Crickets. Like, literal “is this mic on?” levels of silence.

I even tried writing spanking-themed articles — fun stuff, thoughtful stuff, conversation starters. FA shut those down and deleted them. So, okay, fine. That option’s off the table too.

At some point you have to look at what’s left and admit that the page doesn’t really do anything anymore. It can’t host articles. Nobody wants to talk. Nobody interacts with what’s posted. So what purpose does it serve?

Answer: none.

So I’m closing it. It’s not out of spite or anger (though, yes, it’s frustrating), but because there’s no point leaving a hollow, functionless page just sitting there collecting dust.

If people want this kind of content, they’ll have to engage with it somewhere it’s actually allowed and supported. Right now, FA isn’t that place, and the audience clearly isn’t here for it either.

Thanks to everyone who did interact over the years — you were the reason I kept trying as long as I did. But at this point, the curtain falls.
