Terms of Service

Hello and thank you for considering to commission a fursuit, character, or a
variety of products from Stein Monster Suits ! I take pride in my work,
and promise to give you the best of the best in any creation that is asked.
I’m always up for a challenge and willing to bring your idea to life! Of
course before taking this one step on this wonderful journey, I would like to
establish some Terms of Service (TOS) in order to bring understanding of
what I expect and how I work. I ask the reader to be professional while reading the TOS, keep
an open mind for the TOC, and be professional while messaging me as I want both parties to be
happy and satisfied with their experience.

I will not commission anyone under the age of 18 or identified as a minor. I only work
with adults due to minors cannot be held to contract. Before continuing through the
process, will ask for a form of identification with an image included. The identification
must include the Date of Birth, Name, and Photo in order to confirm one is an adult. If
you are not an individual of at least 18 years of age, you will be denied a commission
until your 18. If you lied and did fraudulent activity in showing being at least 18 years
old, there will be no refunds on whatever was paid for. If the product4 was completed
and discovered that the commissioner was a minor, then you will receive a partial refund.
Only when the product commissioned for is completed! As well as the commissioner
shall be blacklisted from my services. Blacklisted will be referred as being banned from
commissioning me, and will be refused for any future services. Any products kept will
be altered in order to not commit any theft, and will be resold.

At the start when commissioning, I ask you to give me as much detail as possible on what
you want commissioned. Whether it’s a full suit, partial, or prop please be as specific as
you can as it makes it easier for both me and you. If you have a reference sheet on the
asked commission that does help me visualize your commission but note some things
may need to be edited to make it come to life. Any edits on things, will be informed
before progressing, but please note it may occur. When details are given and confirmed,
they will be done in the commission. Any additional requests not included within the
initial given requests will be charged extra. If you do not want to pay the extra, then
you get what you paid for.

contract or agreement

3 Fraudulent Activity: Intentional falsification of ones age via false identification, dishonesty in payments, and or
using an adult unethically

Stein Monster Suits Terms of Conditions

Before starting on the commission, I will be requesting a down payment. This payment
is for materials on the requested commission and overall helps me keep my business
going. Down payments will be stated before the suit is started, in order to gain materials
alongside gather information on what you want specifically. Prices can change and vary
depending on additional requests and or complexity on the commission. I will not
continue the suit progress until the down payment is received. When down payment
is received, there will be no refunds as usually materials are instantly ordered when
getting the down payment. If the commissioner is performing a payment plan, the down
payment will be included within the plan. The down payment reserves a spot for the
commissioner with commissioning Stein Monster Suits, and is the first step within the
payment plan.

Commission work will not start until the suit is paid in full. My definition of start is
actually starting to cut the fur, mold a head, and sewing the materials. Whatever the
established price was after asking for what the commissioner, and after the down
payment, is how much one needs to pay in full. Unless the commissioner wants
additions from the initial established price, it will raise and will do suit work based on
what was paid for. For example, if the commission was a suit that was $2000 and you
paid the $2000 but then informed me that you wanted wings for the character; the price
will raise from the initial $2000 but will continue suit work since you paid the initial
price. However if you do not pay the additional amount, then you get what you get based
on what was initially requested and paid off. It is up to the commissioner and their
responsibility to get the money for a Stein Monster Suit’s product, whether it’s in full or a
payment plan. I do accept payment plans, but the rules still will remain the same as I will
not start a suit until paid in full. To reiterate, I will not do commissioned work until
it’s fully paid off, no matter who it is or how they are related to me.

There will be no deadlines given for a commission. After receiving the commission
and is paid in full, work will be started but will not set any deadlines. I like to take my
time and give a high quality product than rush it due to impatience. I will send progress
photos but will refuse to set a deadline for a product. Any unprofessional behavior by
the commissioner or attempt to rush me will result in ending the commission and no
refunds will be given.

5 Down Payment: An initial payment used for materials for the product

6 Payment Plan: A plan established by both Stein Monster Suits and consumer on how much one pays at a certain
time period, in order to pay off the product over time instead of outright

7 Commissioner: Consumer who is voluntarily and willingly paying money to Stein Monster Suits for their service
and or products

8 Additions: Anything that wants to be added in comparison to what was initially planned for the product

If commissioning for a full suit, I will be requesting a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD).
DTD is basically a mold of their body that the individual makes by taping duct tape
around their body through a painters suit or clothing one does not mind getting rid of.
There are numerous ways to do the DTD, but all are pretty much identical. If needing
help or a guide, there are many instructional How to Guides and YouTube Videos in doing
a DTD. For the DTD when complete, I request to label your character’s name, your
personal name, and any other requests asked by me with a sharpie. I do not use
measurements on bodies because I use measurements for the heads and feet. I am also
open to any questions if anything does pop up while doing the DTD. The DTD can be
given anytime whether it’s before the payment is complete, after, or months; however it’s
the commissioner’s responsibility10 to get it done and shipped to me. Please note you
are responsible on the quality done with the DTD, postage when shipping, and any
requests given by me for the DTD. I am not responsible for any damage or sloppy
work with the DTD.

If the commissioner decide to harass, bully, or be extremely unprofessional I have the
right to refuse service. If this does occur, the commissioner will not receive a refund and
any progress on the product will be made. Evidence of any harassment, bullying, and
unprofessional behavior will be documented and may be used for any beware or
informing on other makers. What is defined as harassment, bullying, and or
unprofessional behavior will depend on severity where lighter behavior will be given a
warning and more harsh can result in stopping work instantly. I’m happy to work with
others, but please request to work with me. As long as you work with me, I work with
you.

After the product is finished and shipped, the product is the commissioner’s responsibility
when it gets to their property, hands, and or ownership. If the product is damaged by the
commissioner, lost by the commissioner, and or do anything inappropriate by the
commissioner; that is their responsibility. Stein Monster Suits are not responsible for
what one does with a product. Stein Monster Suits put all their ability, effort, and skills
to give a great product for the commissioner to enjoy and depending on circumstances
can work with the commissioner. However it is the commissioner’s main priority and
responsibility to take care of the product.
If any questions to any of the TOS presented by me, please ask as I’m more than happy to
answer. Otherwise if you agree to the TOS please state the following under the chat you’re
communicating with me. Please state the following:

9 Duct Tape Dummy: A custom work done by taping duct tape around the commissioners or commissioners’ friend,
family, or acquaintance in order to make a model used as reference for full suits.

10 Responsibility: Being in charge for the wellbeing of oneself, personal items, and or others
Stein Monster Suits Terms of Conditions.

“I (Personal Name Here) also known as (Username Here) agree to the Terms of Service given
by Stein Monster Suits. I will not argue against them, I will follow them, and will respect them
while commissioning Stein Monster Suits. I understand what I am agreeing to and make a
promise to uphold these Terms of Service as an oath. I also do understand that any attempt to
break these terms or cause any trouble to Stein Monster Suits can result in legal issues to myself
or others. I hereby accept these Terms of Service willingly and full heartedly under Stein
Monster Suits”.
