STEM Furries
If you are a hobbyist or majoring in STEM, then this group is for you.
The main goal for people is to always try to aim high in college or gain knowledge to learn from. Back in 1969 in the USA, there was Apollo 11. The astronauts have to be experts in calculus, astronomy, and physics. It is a goal to demonstrate that people can achieve their dreams and land on the moon; eventually, they will return to Earth. It may seem like a pipe dream to some, but it is achieved through hard work, a strong work ethic, intelligence, and connections with like-minded people.
If you are majoring in it; however, if you sense having imposter syndrome.
It is alright to have it because some people with experience in those goals can feel shocked by their abilities and anxious after going high. People have to keep their minds strong and not be distracted by their emotions. Do not let fears eat you, turn those fears into curiosity. You have one life and the best to give it a shot in life.
What skills or habits are required to succeed?
Use a group study with the students or tutors for enhancement. Learn from Udemy and textbooks and acquire information. Network with the ambitious and brightest people; even so, take time to understand the professor. These classes are going to become a job, and it will get easier at the end; later, you get the credits and find a better job market.
Do not read the notes or the books for the study; also, it is a passive study and doesn’t retain the information to remember. Write it out, explain to others or draw it on the board for active learning. The best practice is to do it in real life, not just in theory.
In Biology, use flashcards, and apps software like Notion, quizlet, for understanding Kreb Cycles, and other details oriented. Add the notes and textbook details in flash cards or play it like family feud.
In Physics, draw it out from the details question and use the correct formula for the questions. Gravity is 9.8 on Earth. They use derivatives and integrals.
What classes to improve in and what classes to aim for
To become a nurse. Ace (Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medical Terminology, and Anatomy & Physiology).
To become an engineer. Ace (Calculus, Physics, AutoCad, Static, Linear Algebra, Differential equations and other programs)
To become computer science. Ace (C++,Python, Data structure, Calculus, and coding languages courses for this type of goal)
Physics is an applied mathematical discipline. It is a detail-oriented subject in math, and one incorrect step in writing will lead to the wrong answer.
Chemistry is a different world in the classroom. Learning physical chemistry is physics applied, and understanding chemical reactions. Organic chemistry is the study of carbon compounds for familiarity with the chemical structure and learning the patterns.
