Saw this floating around a while back, but accidentally deleted the journal it was in. Whoops. Recently  rjbartrop posted it, so thanks to him for putting out a second chance at it.

Kaldra: I'm called a lot of things.
Petros: Same, but most call me Petros or other less than flattering things.


2. Do you know why you were named that?
P: It was some old, dead language for 'Rock' and they thought I was as stubborn as one.
K: Because they weren't exactly the most imaginative when they did?


3. Single or taken?
K: Single.
P: Ditto.


4. Have any abilities or powers?
P: I'm a really good fighter and leader. I also have the power enrage you by not shutting up.
K: -coils her tails about her- Figure them out.


5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
K: -chuckles- Sweety, if you played your character for over sixteen years as my player has, they'd be one, too. Unless you don't love them and let them stagnate, that is...
P: -glances at K wondering if she's lost her mind-


6. What's your eye color?
P: -blinks his sapphire eyes- Uh... you're not blind are you...?
K: They're the substantially smaller orbs you're not staring at up here. They're gold since you haven't noticed.


7. How about hair color?
K: The same moonless midnight black as the rest of my pelt. -whispers to Petros- Do you think they even realize I have a head?
P: -tilts head and rests his temple on a fist- Blonde...


8. Have you any family members?
P: My parents. Only child.
K: I'm sure I have family out there. After all; you never know who somebody really is...


9. Oh? How about pets?
K: I don't suppose you'll apply for the position?
P: No pets, though I did have a displacer beast for a mount once. Does that count?


10. That's cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don't like.
P: Bullies. Can't stand 'em.
K: Gender confusion. It's a little more in depth and less homophobic than you're thinking, so put away the social justice warrioring before you hurt yourself.


11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
K: I like writing.
P: Carving and blacksmithing.


12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?
P: -holds up his sword- I'm sitting here in armor, you know.
K: -each tail spawns a dramatically different sword- Guess.

Both: -shakes weapons as if to go 'duh'-

P: I'm a beast all my own.
K: The nine tails didn't give it away?

K: Well, sometimes people like coming to me looking a victim, and when I question the other person, I don't always have an objective mind when I do it...
P: I whistle all the time.


16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
P: I used to look up to my mentor, but... long story for another day.
K: I am rather tall to looking upwards to people.

17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?
K: I'm an omnivore. If that doesn't make sense, think about what I am. It'll come to you.
P: I am straight.

P: Not for a long time.
K: I've never gone to school.


19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
K: Been there, done that.
P: If I were to find the right person for it, yes.

P: Do people who swear terrible vengeance count?
K: -waves a hand and snaps her fingers a few times to get the interviewer's gaze above her neckline- Starting to think I do.

K: -looks to Petros- Fear?
P: -looks to Kaldra- That's a thing?


22. What do you usually wear?
P: Armor. Really heavy armor. That I made. I'm handy like that.
K: Oh... whatever I feel like wearing. It depends on the place, time, era, and what I'm doing.


23. What's one food that tempts you?
K: Never could resist the soul of a tyrant. Oh... with a bottle of freshly heated sake... -hugs herself and licks her lips thinking of it-
P: I -love- ramen. Real ramen, mind you. You know, big bowl with udon noodles and slices of egg and ham and all that good stuff. Not the instant stuff.

P: Now that you're not asking questions about appearance? Not anymore.
K: Considering you've yet to make eye contact with me...

Both: -look at each other then back at the interviewer and stare-

K: A few really good ones.
P: A number haven't died yet.

P: What kind of pie are we talking about here?
K: I second the counterquestion and further it with asking if it has ice cream or not.


30. Favorite drink?
K: Sake.
P: Honey mead.


31. What's your favorite place?
P: Anywhere curled up and relaxing with a good book by a fire.
K: Again, seconded and asking if there's ice cream or not.

Both: -shrugs-

P: I would say there's no such thing as a stupid question, but...
K: Yeah. It was.

K: The ocean. More room.
P: Tired of water.

K: That would be telling.
