I've gone into some detail in a Youtube video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVqbda2Dupg ) about me moving on from the Surge Aquos username across the board, but unfortunately FA still doesn't have a renaming feature, so alas; this is unfortunately the means in which to do it.

The TL;DR is Surge was intended as a character & not a reflection of myself, & that distinction has grown with time & my own self discovery. So, most of my stuff from now on is going to be over at  LykaTheran as that's intended to be my main account from now on.

However, as I mentioned Surge was intended as a character, and that character & world are still in active development, so I reckon I'll keep this account up exclusively for stuff relating to that, both as an archive for myself & a means of sharing it with those who are interested in knowing more about the biggest, most intrusive brainworm that's been living rent free in my head for 2 decades and counting.


Why now? Mainly because I've been feeling a lot more productive as of late; heck, I even have a list of ideas at the moment! I've got a backlog of things I want to make rather than just a backlog of projects I've grown disinterested or dissatisfied with and dropped! Since I want to use a new alias across the board, changing it now whilst the creative juices are flowing just seems the best time to do it & start slowly moving over.

I doubt many will notice or even care about me moving, given my general inactivity, lack of frequent interaction or engagement, or even just the few people following me not remembering who I am or having moved their own accounts on; however, the signpost is here, saying I'm over there, & excited to get stuck into some projects.
