So I’ve been gone for a while on this site. Here’s an explanation on why:

Six years ago I started college and that’s where the decline of consistent uploads began. I’ve tried to draw something for this site from time to time but I never ended up finishing a drawing nor do I have any interest to finish them. This actually isn’t anything new. I believe that it was three years into drawing on this site that I wouldn’t really have a drive on finishing drawings. Then I entered college and that drive slowly faded away even more. I felt a bit uncomfortable drawing because it was starting to feel like drawing to please other people rather than drawing because I liked to draw. I only started drawing because it was enjoyable and that joy was disappearing over the years.

My last drawing on this site was uploaded three years ago and it will be the last. I’m tired of essentially forcing myself to draw, especially if it’s drawing something that I don’t really want to draw anymore. This doesn’t mean I won’t be drawing ever again or that I’ve stopped drawing altogether. I have been drawing the past few years. The reason I haven’t been uploading here is because the stuff I draw now wouldn’t really fit on this site in my opinion. I wasn’t really uploading anything anywhere. I was just drawing because I wanted to draw. But if I did post a drawing online, it would be on my Instagram because, like most people on social media, I wanted to share what I was doing to people.

In addition to drawing, I’ve been doing many other mediums of art. Especially graphic design because I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. I’ve been doing graphic design for the past four years. I even have a website with my professional and personal graphic design work. It’s a field I found was best suited for me while in college. Aside from that, I’ve also recently started making music. I have been writing songs since high school and am currently producing those songs. I uploaded my first song “Memories” on my birthday and it has gotten really good reception since release. Because of that, it kinda encouraged me to keep doing this. I started writing songs as a form of therapy and I’m glad that “Memories” did well and so many people felt a connection to the song’s message. So I think this is where I say goodbye to this site. I decided that I’m going to leave this profile up for people to see my previous work. Thank you all who have watched me grow as an artist on this site. I hope you’ll follow me with my current interests.
