Howdy! So, while 2025 was my first year postin' to the internet, 2026 will be my first full year of sharing art and having a presence online. I plan to do a lot of personal development things this year but I also plan on meeting some art and content goals in 2026, too! I've been told making a list of set goals helps a lot with keeping to them, so maybe this is a bit awkward, but I Wanna try and do that.

So, my main goals for this year are to:

1.) Nail down my art style. The best example of the art style I wanna go for would be somethin' like Foresttherotten (an artist I aspire to be at the level of). I also wanna get down that sorta semi-chibi artstyle where the characters have proportionally more cartoony proportions but they have nice, curvy muscles, and limbs and such! It's a wee bit over general of a goal, but I wanna try steerin' my style that way!

2.) Learn better drawing methods and draw faster. I said in like a older post or somethin' that I use a alt kind of mannequin method a college pal taught me, and I've sorta been copying how he draws cause I like his stuff (he don't do furry stuff sadly :(), but I wanna doodle my stuff faster. I take like half an hour for my sketches, and there's deffo some ways I can do this faster. I have a hard time drawin' from imagination for example, so I wanna practice doin' that so I can maybe not have to doodle a skeleton every time I wanna doodle a cute dame. I will also try learnin' and getting better at some other stuff that'll help with this and the first goal, like rendering, anatomy, and proper line art.

3.) I wanna interact more with my audience. I'm still shocked I've even got an audience to begin with still! Like, as of postin' this, I've got 15 followers here, and 87 on Bluesky! Some of y'all are artists also! So, I wanna try and do more stuff with y'all. I'm thinkin' requests like the one I did last month. Tho I'mma keep it to sketches probably cause it took me like a week to do that one. But it was fun so I wanna do it again!

I know this is all cheesy, but last yeart was super encouraging, and I wanna give it my all, so I'm tryin' to make something of this chance I've got! Thanks for swinging by! This year will bring all sorts of stuff you'll find neat!
