Hey! Update on life and stuff (G)

Hey guys. hope youre all doing well. sorry ive been so inactive here, things have just been busy with life and ill just give a quick run down thatll probably sound like copping an excuse

Back in 2023 I was working at a different walmart when my mom called and vented about all the debt we had, so I felt it was my responsibility to take care of it and help out, so I took a promotion to help deal with that. Im talking like... 15k$ in debt. I took care of it all, its gone and my moms back to working as well so things are good financially. I busted my ass, spent 6 days a week doing 12-15hr shifts. It was nuts, and Im sure theres some lasting damage there on my body from all the ups and downs and bending over and stuff. Most my spare time was spent just sleeping or playing games, trying to enjoy life a little

Both my bosses and copartner got fired all within like 2 months of each other, so I was working alone a lot and really felt like I had no support at work. That was just after we went through a remodel and then our annual inventory was happening. I put my 2 weeks notice in, I saw Inventory through and left walmart

I went unemployed for 2 months. I was finally living. I had a great savings but turns out you spend money fast when you have time to spend it! So i couldnt be out of work for too long. Come bout a month ago I got a call from my friend asking if I was still wanting work and that he had something for me starting the following monday

So now I work for a construction company pouring concrete. Its not so bad, its tough work but theres plenty of downtime and time to chill. Im making a bit more money too and i get weekends off. So im pretty content with it

As for art, I am starting to get back into commissioning. Part of me feels like I owe some artists some support for my MIA for so long. Ive got a backlog of art to post if and when i get to it, Im fairly lazy haha. But ive gotten 2 new arts in the last month so there is that
